Features

  • FEATURES: The aluminum (AL) body provides safety and durability. The bed cover panel consists of a standing seam AL slats system that provides seams that are virtually impenetrable to both knives and rain. The built-in cover lock makes it difficult to open the cover without permission. The cover's integrated sealing and drainage system keeps the bed and cargo sealed and dry in all-weather conditions, protecting against UV, dust, rain, snow, etc. This is true even when the truck is washed.
  • HARDWARE: The cover panel is mainly made of aluminum slats, 2 aluminum side rails, and an aluminum canister with a built-in tension control of adjustment and drainage system. The aluminum canister is also used to store the slats when the cover is retracted.
  • APPEARANCE: The aluminum body cover sits almost flush with your truck bed and support up to 600 lbs of evenly distributed weight. The truck tonneau cover is dark matte powder-coated to protect top surface from rough scratches, marks, and corrosion. In case you accidentally open the pick-up tonneau covers while driving, it will not affect safe driving unlike the tri-fold trucks tonneau cover. Furthermore, it will not obstruct the rear windshield sight after opening like the folding bed cover.
  • EASY TO OPERATE: Open the lock, and the truck bed cover will automatically slide to the cabin along the side rail. You do not need to lower the tailgate, and our truck bed covers can be operated with one hand. There are no snaps to manipulate, no stuff to roll up or bundle and lash down, and no heavy tri-fold truck tonneau covers to lift and close.
  • EASY TO INSTALL: Install through clamping. No drilling is required. The bed covers and tailgate will automatically lock when the cover is fully closed(The cover must be fully open for the locking system to automatically transition to a locked state. In the event that it is only partially open, the locking system will be unlock until the pull strap is manually moved to the left.). In the open country, this cover is safer than a soft tarp.

  • Nice quality
The media could not be loaded. Update: drove few hundred miles for gathering. Screws did not come loose. I closed the cover and shake it left and right. Absolutely no movement and the cover stayed closed. There is form pad throughout the underside of the rail. So when you first tighten the screws of the braces, it may feel tight but have to come back and tighten them again after few hours. Form may feel firm initially but naturally it gets compressed to a point it no longer compresses. That’s when you need to tighten it again. I didn’t use thread locker and screws stayed tightly locked. However I’d suggest to use thread locker so you don’t try to over tighten it and strip the treads. Update: every sliding cover brands I researched require drainage to prevent water going into truck bed. I didn’t want to drill a hole so I noticed the corner anchor point has an opening. So I just routed the tube through that. Also you can route the tube to the back side toward tailgate gap and drain it there. Also another option as shown in picture, guide the drain hose to one of water drain gaps and use a strong adhesive or tape to hole the hose in place. About people saying sliding cover opens during driving. Manual specifically indicates in troubleshooting section to make sure width between rails are consistently the same throughout whole length. If distance between rails at tailgate end is too wide, cover locking mechanism will not have enough material to engage into locking holes. Rail distance should not allow too much play when you wiggle slide cover left and right. It shouldn’t be so tight that you cannot slide open. Initial review: I’m impressed with the quality after installing this sliding cover. Prior to finding Flowkottu brand, I researched other well known brands but they priced higher. They all claim to support hundreds of pounds when it is covered. The skepticism was no longer there after seeing Flowkottu’s video demonstration of two adults walking on it. That’s when I decided to get it. Of course I won’t do that with mine but wow, the build quality is not deniable. The lines and each seams for each slide panels are perfectly lined up. I drove on highway and local bumpy roads. No rattles. Sliding tension is easily adjustable. It has drain pipes at each of 4 truck bed corners. I drove in the rain once and it kept inside dry. Side rails have full padding underneath and the rail’s width covers the whole width of trucks top side plastic trim. It’s a perfect fit and kept water out. For the rear, there is a rubber seal attached underneath the slide pull. It blocks water from entering from tailgate. Note that I had to re-adjust bracket to make sure L bracket is parallel to slide cover, and pressed down side rail while tightening the screws that attach to the bed. This is normal since you want to fine tune the fitment. The sliding is very smooth even before adding oil that’s included. Only use recommended oil as mentioned in instructions. Other lubricants may not be suitable such as grease. Grease traps dirt. It’s like garage doors not suggesting to use grease neither. Light mechanical oil is best. The result actually looks better than other ones I saw in person. Other ones’ rails don’t cover whole width of truck bed top trim (that factory plastic piece). It’s also very low profile. I’d highly recommend Flowkottu. Btw, my questions were quickly addressed by their support prior and after purchase. So I’m impressed. ... show more

  • Intuitive install. Very happy with the product.
Ill start by saying that I really like this bed cover. How ever the install packet it comes with isn't very good for directions. I couldn't figure out how to attach numerous parts without watching the video. Took about 1.5 hours to install. With that being said my initial reaction is it's a great product. They didn't cheap out on any hardware. Operation is extremely smooth. Looks great, and I'm looking forward to it not flopping around like my old leather roll up. My only real complaint is it doesn't seal to the tailgate well. I'm not sure if will be an issue or not. Otherwise the water sealing gaskets are far better than the other systems I've used in the past. Overall this is a no brainer at the price point. Very happy with the look and operation. It's definitely more water tight than any other system I've used. It's an easy buy. ... show more

  • Bed cover is great
The bed cover was delivered on time and not damaged. The installation was not bad definitely need 2 people. My only complaint is that the instructions are terrible. The cover looks great.

  • Terrible assembly - not worth it
Assembly of this thing was the absolute worst. The instructions are pictures that make absolutely zero sense AND they are wrong. You have to cut a hole in your truck bed for a drain. Don’t buy this horrible jigsaw puzzle tonneau cover.

  • Tough Retractable Aluminum Cover - Won't Go Back To Flip Style Covers!
Bought this to replace a broken folding tonneau cover, was on the fence about losing the space where the "can" goes, but its totally worth it! Watertight seal all the way around, just remember to install the bulkhead aluminum L bracket at the front of the bed (directions were a little foggy on this, but for my F150 with the 5.6' bed it was needed). Don't be afraid to put the included screws into the header for this bracket, measure twice, making sure the bulkhead bracket is level with the bed rails, pre drill with an undersized bit, then use the included sheet metal screws to install. Then seal the space around the bracket with the included black RTV. The cover then slides up until it hits the bracket, then you install the clamps. On my truck. I added some of the included foam to the tailgate side so the tailgate doesn't hit the cover, but still makes a solid seal. I highly recommend this cover, the name brand version with T slots for a rack is 3 times the price, and the quality of this one is top notch. Smooth operation, adjustable tension, it includes lube for the tracks (makes it glide smoothly). The only places you may get water is in the corners (where the cover meets the tailgate and the front corners of the bulkhead) and that's only when you're driving in a downpour. If I ever get another truck, I'll get another one of these. ... show more

  • Good but has major flaws
Bought this for a 2023 super crew F150 with the 5.5 foot bed. Overall good construction and not too complicated to install. However, the written instructions are terrible. Just watch the YouTube video. Some sections you may have to play at half speed. Next issue is, that at least for the 2023 F150, it's too short to be watertight by about 1/4 inch. So expect some water to come in at the tail gate. But the most concerning flaw is that the nuts holding down the rails back out with normal commuting. After a couple days noticed the rails had shifted. Opened up the bed and found all the nuts loose and one completely off. Was an easy fix with some threadlock, but the instructions say nothing about applying loctite to the threads and there being a risk of them becoming loose with vehicle vibrations. ... show more
