Love everything about the appliance and give it one star short of perfect for installation as the connector between the glass and the fireplace is tough to separate and I feared breaking it during the install process. During the install process we had to get the unit in and out of the recessed box (we built) a couple of times to ensure a good fit and I really had a tough time separating the connector and hoping it would not flake out on me. Otherwise, I highly recommend this pretty well built and packaged fireplace - it is absolutely mesmerizing with a high quality finish. Difficult and confusing to put together and mount but so beautiful when done. Can mix and match the colors of the flames and what color is projected onto glass rocks which gives you many color combinations. The clear stones really set everything off. The heat feature is very nice. The only thing I wish it had was the fire crackling noise that I had on a previous electric fireplace. I have had sone trouble getting the remote to work, even up close. ... show more
