    • Best winch I have ever used
This is a very strong and capable winch. I mounted it to my AWD astro van and it is strong enough to pull the van up out of a ditch in my testing. I am very happy with the built in controller box, and the remote works great. I have never had a wireless remote and I am very pleased that this came with one. The previous winch I had was a metal cable and I would have thought a synthetic cable would have been inferior, however I will probably never go back to a metal cable after using this one. It is just as strong, and much nicer to work with. I feel like it spools up better and is much nicer to your hands. I would still use gloves, but I'm not sure they are necessary with the poly rope. I've had a couple other brand winches, but this was my first X-BULL winch. Finally was able to install it today after my new front bumper for my Jeep Gladiator finally arrived! Install was pretty typical as far as winches go. Instructions were good and the little color diagram on the winch for wiring was great. I did notice some of the labels are already lifting up. I was able to press them back down, but I suspect being exposed to weather they'll disappear soon. Not that big of a deal. Perhaps if that happens they'll send me some new labels? One I got it all wired up, was able to test and rewind it under load of the Gladiator on free roll. No issues found whatsoever! First good rescue will be the real test, but this looks and feels like a good quality winch, and their other winches have pretty good reviews as well. Really thrilled about the finish on it as it somehow managed to match the finish on my new bumper EXACTLY! So it looks GREAT sitting on there! The wireless remote is a super great extra feature to have too! I expect to get many years of use out of this winch! Thanks X-BULL! ... show more

I got this for my husband who has been needing a winch for a while! I loved all the specs on this one and think it's definitely very heavy duty and very well made. It does have some weight to it and you can tell it's made from higher quality materials. This comes very well packed and secured and everything is exactly as described in the ad. Has plenty of strength and I have no doubt it could definitely reach the full 13,000 lb. Definitely functions as intended and it's super easy to get mounted and installed. My husband had it together in no time and ready to use. He absolutely loves it and is fully obsessed. The quality and craftsmanship is out of this world and it's definitely worth every penny! It's perfectly as it's supposed two and matches up 100% with the ad even down to the measurements so it was the perfect size that it was supposed to be. . Quite heavy duty with a long, strong rope. Looks intimidating. The remote is where the value come in for me. I've seen bad things happen to others when winches were used decades ago. I have a big respect for safety. The remote does operate from quite a distance. The listing says 100 ft, which is more than enough. The control box itself has several options for mounting. The gearing is very precise. This is truly a remarkable winch. With the IP65 rating, the looks, remote, and operations, this has good value well above the solid quality this winch offers. ... show more
