So, although I have only used the Wybot C1 only once this weekend it performed flawlessly. My previous model was a Dolphin Nautilus that lasted me 7 1/2 years, and I am in the process of repairing that model, and wanted something in the midterm to clean the pool. Didn't want to spend a fortune on some of the robot models that are over 1k, and got a great deal on the C1 at $399 on special. I downloaded the app after receiving the unit from Amazon, simply plugged the unit into the wall outlet to charge, took about an hour, but I'm sure it was already partially charged from the factory, so charging speed I cannot give an accurate timeline, but I would say 2-3hrs tops. I then pushed the power button on the unit and tossed it in the pool and it went to work. I have a kidney shaped in ground pool, around 12 x 30ft. Not a huge pool, but it is caged and we still get insects and plant material from our potted plants around the pool in the pool. This time there was a ton of sand in the pool from having our pavers resealed here in FL. I didn't watch the robot the entire time (approx 2 hrs it ran so battery life seems impressive) but after retrieving the robot from the pool the filter basket no lie was half full of sand. It did an amazing job grabbing sand and pollen as pollen is crazy right now in FL. Again longevity is the key to a good purchase and time will tell, but I did also purchase the 3 Yr Asurion coverage through Amazon should I have any failures for an extra $60 for a total of $460. The unit was on special and is usually $499 so I feel good about the purchase and value for the money. The robot did a great job climbing walls and it scrubbers scrubbed the water line. It's LED on the front lets you identify if it is charged, ready to deploy and when it is out of battery. It did come with a hook that you have to put on a standard mop stick, broom stick. I just used an old metal painting extension pole I had and used a self tapping screw to add the hook. The unit is pretty easy to grab after using the hook/stick. The unit itself is not that heavy compared to my previous model when full of water, but still a little heavy. I am male, 47yrs old and in decent shape for reference. I do hope this review helps anyone else making a decision as I spent hours looking at all the models online and whether to go with corded or battery powered unit, but finally decided to try it. All in all so far so good, simple setup, simple app, a truly set and forget robot for a small to medium sized in ground pool. I will say I don't know (as again I didn't watch it every second) if it got all spots in my pool but my pool wasn't that dirty to start with other then sand being on the bottom and it knocked that out, and had way more sand in the basket then I though was even in the pool. ... show more

After the first use the vacuum went downhill immediately. The second time I used it, one week later, it left most of the bottom of the pool untouched. Even after confirming the settings, it was not cleaning. I tried a day later and the same thing, it was skipping most areas of the walls and the floor. After the second use the knob that hold the bottom of the basket connected broke off. I tried to get help but was given the run around and is why I am leaving a 1 star review now, in hopes of someone from the company to provide some resolution. This is too much money to work only 1 time. I am not sure how much help a new basket would be because that has nothing to do with it skipping areas of the pool. My pool is small anyways but this is not worth it at all. The First picture is after cleaning the first time, the others are taken after the most recent use. it didnt even touch the stairs and most walls, it is hard to see but it is a very poor job. ... show more

As advertised. Easy to use. Does the job. Cleans floor and walls of pool. Runs at least 1:50 minutes as advertised, I actually got over 2 hours of run time on battery. Charges quickly. Very nice quality and love the wireless situation.

I was very excited to receive the Wybot C-1. The price was great, shipped early and was easy to program. After a full charge, in the pool it goes. My pool is a small 10,000 gallons. The first clean was great but must admit the pool was not very dirty. Not a lot of leaves or any surface debris. However, it did have trouble with the steps. They have a slight curve and the robot had a difficult time maneuvering around the curves so the steps did not get cleaned. The second and third cleanings were a different story. We had a couple of wind storms so there were more leaves and debris in the pool. Cleaning the floor and walls went okay. After each 2 1/2 to 3 hour cleanings, there was still some debris on the floor mostly around the steps and next to the sides in the shallow end. Also on the tile trim. Mainly, I was disappointed to find it does not clean the surface. My goal in purchasing the robot was to save wear and tear on my back but am still having to clean the surface of the water and left over debris. Extremely effective at cleaning sides and bottom of pool. Climbs to top of pool wall effortlessly and gets all debris from bottom.
