The 1in size corrected the leak problem. Used hi temperature silicone adhesive. Easy to apply. Great price. Just follow the instructions provided on the tube.

    • Easy to install
It was easy for me because removal of the existing one was very simple. I had to wire brush the slot holding the previous one. It cleaned up nicely. Installing the Protalwell gasket required Checking for sizing constraints, putting the black glue in the cleaned slot and pressing the new Protalwell gasket into the slot. I used scissors to cut off the extra few inches of the gasket and I was done. Read all instructions as they mentioned a couple of things that are very important, like keeping you vacuum (shopvac) at the ready to catch dust from the wire brush.
