You have to be careful to start out slow but over time I found myself strapping this thing on for walks and just doing stairs it strengthened my legs,core and helped my posture to name a few benefits. All in all: Get it! The price is a bit high, but it is ABSOLUTELY worth it. The material is strong and durable, yet comfortable. The plate-compartment is supportive enough to hold the plates in place. The customization through the Molle system is nice too. CON: the flap that keeps the cummerbund straps in place has Molle on it, but because they flip upwards to place the straps in-place, the Molle attachments you use will press into the top half of the vest. It's a minor inconvenience but still an imperfection in design. ... show more

Have built up my endurance and absolutely blasted my calves on the incline with these. Especially good for adding a challenge to push ups, pull ups and dips without the free having belt that gets in the way at times.

4 star because of the loud smell I got met with when I opened the bag it was in. It smelled like a musty basement. Almost like it had been wet then sealed up. I used spray Lysol to drown it and it worked. Overall, it appears to be built with quality. The Velcro components are super aggressive. That’s a good thing! I don’t expect this Velcro to fail anytime soon. I also bought the Wolf Tactical weight plates. They fit well and the straps on the inside keep them from shifting when I run. Overall, I’m glad I went with this carrier over the 5.11! The price is just super hard to beat with the quality that’s been put into this carrier. ... show more

This is a great workout plate carrier for the money. Having worn operational plate carriers in my past I was looking for one that was cheap enough for me to use for workouts that was comfortable and I didn't worry about trashing it over time. I am 6’-4” tall and love the fit. Has a lot of Velcro adjustments which seem complex but once you dial it in it is comfortable. Did the (2)15 pound plates and they fit snuggly in and no wobble. Highly recommended for the price!
