    • The perimeter lighting is a nice feature, and the charger works well
I have used several wireless chargers over the years. The newer chargers have a capacitor, like this one, that will power the clamps a few times, even after the 12v power has turned off. This one has a light around the perimeter. I was not sure if this was going to be distracting. I found that the light guides you to where to place your phone in a dark car, and it also gets covered up with your phone, so it does not distract you or cause any glare. Some chargers are faster than others. I think this charger is fast enough for me. I am looking for a charger that works, that will not overcharge, or overheat my phone. I prefer to trad super fast charging for an slower even charge, without having my phone heat up. So far, this one is fine. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I've wanted one of these for a long time but had such bad experiences with other units in the past that I was skeptical any would work in my Audi Q5. Most of the previous units clipped on somehow but never really held tight enough and would work their way loose or just fall immediately when hitting any bump. This one has a metal clip that grabs the vent in the rear and then tightens a larger surface area against the front of the vent to hold the phone securely. Once plugged in, the light surrounding the charging surface glows in a nice blue (see the video that shows it turn on when I plugged it in). When you put the phone on the charger it automatically tightens to hold the phone securely in place and the wireless charger kicks in. To release the phone there is a button on each side of the unit which you press and it then releases the mount. I see no flaws in this design. Pros: - Easy to use - Solid mount to the car....won't fall down or drop phone....or slip into a different position - Charges phone using wireless, but requires included USB-A to USB-C cable - Nice design: Looks sleek and modern - Automatically secures phone Cons: - Doesn't use magnetic ring to hold phone (this might be a good thing?) - Included instructions are poorly written, but not really needed. For example, they say you can't use your car's USB outlet to do fast-charging, but with today's new cars you often can...it just depends on how many amps the USB outlet provides ... show more

I got this charger and holder for a cross-country trip to help family move from Florida to Colorado, I was quite pleased with the quality and look of this charger/holder. My phone was held on securely to the car so I could see my phone while I used the GPS feature to get me to Colorado, I am so happy with this item I am recommending it to anyone I can. ... show more

I mounted this in my 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L for use with a Samsung 23 Ultra. The positives first - nice looking phone holder. I'm sure it's sturdy in the right vehicle. The auto clamp function is pretty slick. When the phone is set into the holder the clamps close automatically. The charging seems to work well even in a fairly heavy case and it seems to be a quick charge. The release is a button on each side of the holder - not bad but my personal preference is one button release on the rear of the holder. No issues with interference using Bluetooth Android Auto. In the areas for improvement category - The locking mechanism that clamps the unit to the vent is too large for my vent. It hits the dash shelf before it clamps to the vent (see pic). Granted my vents are narrow so this may not be an issue for others. I tried on the vents on both the left and right side of the steering wheel. My other concern is the lack of vertical adjustment. As you can see from the 2nd picture the phone sits uncomfortably close to the right side lever (windshield wiper controls, etc.). Moving it to the right would block controls and my screen; moving to the vent on the other side of the steering wheel has the same issue with the turn signal lever. A bit of vertical adjustment similar to the mount I have in our Wrangler would go a long towards making this manageable. As I said before, perhaps it's just my car's configuration and maybe not a problem with other vehicles. One last note (and I am not sure if this a vendor issue or Amazon), but the first unit I received was obviously a return - it was scratched, all the internal packaging was torn, parts were loose in the box and not in the bags and the clamping mechanism was not functional. I returned it and received a prompt replacement. Functionality is a 5, but for me the form/ fit is a 2 so I gave it 3 stars. Could be a 5 all around for you. ... show more

This is a GREAT phone holder as well as phone charger. There is a bottom on the side of the holder that you press to open and close the holder, this only works when attached to power. Everything that you need is included with this phone holder. I use this for my iPhone 15 Plus and I have a case on my phone and it holds it well. I don’t mint that it is a vent hold rather than a suction holder. It seems to be durable and made of good quality. ... show more
