I like the bright yellow color lets any potential thieves see it easily. The key works easily and the bar slides up and down without any issues, even after sitting in the sun and a constant use for over a year. This seems to provide relatively inexpensive a possible theft deterrent.

    • Works great & is easy to use, but akward to store
It's very easy to put on and remove and I think it's a great deturrent to theft. The operation of it when being extended and unlocked & retracted is very smooth in all weather and temperature conditions from 95 to 20 degrees farenheight. The only thing I don't like about it is due to the odd profile from the paired locking tangs, it won't fit under the seat of either of my cars, so it sits just in front of my seat behind my legs, and sometimes it slides or flops forwards and is a little annoying. I could obviously place it behind my seat, but then it's in the way of passengers and would be difficult to grab and install. I guess it's a small annoyance considering that it may keep your car from being stolen. ... show more

Nice feeling of a security when traveling with this club and they give multiple keys so no worries of losing them all. For my car (2017 Lexus IS) I turn the steering wheel to a angle and fix the club so that the rod points to the door around the pocket area.

This is a quality unit, made well, easily used, and manufactured by the original inventor of 'the club'. All told, I think it's a good asset. I live in an area that when I must park outside the garage, there is a chance of theft. This unit, on the steering wheel and properly locked simply will make the potential thief realize that it's going to be a LOT more trouble to defeat this device then the theft is worth. There are other cars up and down the street that don't have a club on them and are easier to steal. I'm reminded of the old joke....if a bear is chasing you, you don't need to be able to run faster than the bear. You need to be able to run faster than the other guy the bear is chasing along with you. ... show more

Bought this for my old rig that sits most of the time and many similar ones have been stolen nearby lately. The lock seems tough but would be easy enough to cut if time allows. My hope is that a would be car thief would see the bright yellow and not take the time and move on to an easier target. The lock is easy and quick to install and remove with the key. ... show more
