UPDATE: I learned that the distorted suction cups can be fixed by submerging them in boiling hot water. I boiled a cup of water in the microwave, submerged the suction cups for a minute and they straightened out. I'm testing their hold on a glass window and they hold great. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This kit consists of two waterproof phone cases and two lightweight paddleboard/kayak deck bags. The phone cases are somewhat small but they work great for my phone. And the deck bags are also a good idea for small items, but those have one major flaw. The suction cups on the four corners don’t work. This set comes folded and crammed into a very small box, and the suction cups get all twisted out of shape as a result. On one of my bags, only one suction cup would hold. The other three are too bent and distorted to work as they should, even with some water applied to help them seal on the deck. Other than the suction cup problem, you do get some good value out of this set. The phone cases work well, and they have a stiffening ring around the edge that helps them hold their shape. I haven’t seen other bags with a stiffener like this. But the stiffener does make the useable size of the bag smaller. The deck bags are light-duty with a coated fabric on the bottom and light mesh top. Small zippers access two compartments. One compartment is the full rectangular size of the bag, and second smaller triangular compartment is layered on top of the main compartment. Those compartments aren’t gusseted to allow them to expand so they’ll work best for smaller, thin items. ... show more
