Have you ever had a body pillow that the material flattens over time? NOT this guy! It has a memory foam feeling and is quite heavy. I actually prefer a heavier body pillow vs. the fiber filled one from target or walmart. When the pillow arrives, it will be compressed and then when it expands it turn into your best night time investment! I WISHED I would have known about this amazing pillow when it was pregnant. I bought the fancy pregnancy body pillow which was so bulky it basically prevented my husband from sleeping next to me. If I knew then what I know now I would have but 3 of these for less than the cost of the full pregnancy pillow. I will never have to buy a cheap quality body pillow ever again. I do however wish the pillow case that was recommended had a zipper, I didn't read all the specs and I got one that has a flap. I love the material, it's actually smooth and hasn't pilled...yet. I move a lot at night and the case often comes off....I could sew a button or zipper but it's not that big of a deal. Get this pillow! I like this pillow a lot! It's much Fuller and yet softer than my old standard fiber fill body pillow. However, the small foam pieces do move around while sleeping on it somewhat. Additionally as noted, it does have quite a strong smell one for unpacked and you have to leave out for about 5 to 7 days to entirely get rid of the smell. Do you not buy the pillowcase! It shrink after washing and will not fit back on the pillow or on my other smaller body pillow. The pillowcase is also a very scratchy fabric. Stick to just the pillow. I ordered 5 of these pillows for my household. The pillows arrive tightly rolled in plastic. The first thing I noticed was a strong chemical smell. It was every single pillow so not a one off. The instructions say to allow 24 hours for the pillows to expand to normal size. However, after this time period, they were still a bit flat and uneven/lumpy. I removed the covers to wash in an attempt to eliminate the odor, but noticed it is the inner casing/stuffing that is causing the smell. It took days to air out to a tolerable level. I didn't want to bother with returning 5 of these very large pillows so I am making the best of it. I fear they will become more lumpy with time and won't last. I don't recommend this product when there are other options out there. ... show more

This body pillow is both long enough ( I’m 5’11) and firm enough to be super comfy. The memory foam makes the pillow super dense, so no bare spots where there isn’t enough filling. It really does help to let it sit for 24 hours after opening.
