I like these clips for automotive testing because the jaws are slender enough to fit into most (not all) automotive plugs and get good contact on male pins. Same for electronics when a low current jumper is needed like when you need to attach standard multi-meter leads in a circuit for hands-free testing. They are great for testing small, plug in style relays. The clips only open about 1/4" but that is OK for most low current testing as they are only 22 gauge. They are fine for testing A/C clutch function which draws about 4 amps. The quality of the alligator is good for the price and they have good spring tension. They are not "Pro" grade, but for the price, you can throw them out when they lose functionality. ... show more
