It took a little time to adjust amps but it worked well so far. Make sure you use the smaller rods as recommended tried to finish the job with a heavier rod it worked but not as well. Wish it had longer cable and power cord. But it was worth the price

I wish this tool existed 20 years ago when I was a kid on the farm and had to fix all the broken stuff that cattle would accidentally break. I small gas powered generator and this awesome electrical welder could have been an incredible time saver. This tool is nothing short of AWESOME and one of the best investments I ever made. Burned 1/16" 7018 rod, on 1/8" steel. Did the job well, on setting ( 2.25 ). Should handle up to 3/16" rod just fine ! Satisfied Customer.
