So I haven't used the 110 option yet, but it works pretty awesome with 220. With extended warranty and at this price, why wouldn't you buy this suitcase. Has a bunch of settings that come with the newer welders, (hot start, push force, ECT) but I'm yet to use the TIG set up on it.     • STOP LOOKING AND BUY THIS WELDER!! BEST I'VE SEEN FOR IT'S PRICE, NO JOKE!!!!
This little dude, and I do mean little cuz its small, performs well beyond my expectations. I have only used it on a 110v 30 amp circuit with its output set at minimum 30ish amps and at a maximum 125 amps. At 125 amp it didn't break a sweat welding two pieces of 1/4" plate mild steel about 12" long together with 6013 5/32" rods. I'd say this machine is perfect for any hobbyist or weekend warrior. Only thing I cannot attest to is how it holds up to constant use. I have, however, burned through a lil over 1lb of those 6013 5/32" rods on 3 different projects over the course of about 2 - 2.5 hours and never once did it shut off as the manual says it will when the duty cycle limit is reached. I say "HELL YEAH YOU SHOULD BUY IT!!" to anyone looking for a small, portable, reliable (so far), and user friendly welder. ... show more

    • surprisingly powerfull
the adjustment dial to set the digital readout is finicky. also i ran it on a 120volt 20amp circuit and it worked but tripped the breaker often, really needed a 30amp circuit. Also the welding lead is way to short. BUT it is super light, very compact and does work and is amazing for the price

I sold my stick and wire feed welders. Didn't use enough and took up space. I saw this and figured if it even marginally worked it would be great. Got to use it today and it was amazing. Easy strike, smooth weld with very little spatter, quiet and cool. I ran it on 220/30amp with a 20 foot good extension cord with no problem. The media could not be loaded. Nice price. Turn knob to control Amps, press same knob to switch through the menus (lights), turn knob in each menu to change values. Came with all accessories. The media could not be loaded. I'm impressed. I think it's a DC arc since my clamp meter could no measure the current so I just welded some thick material. As good as my old Lincoln AC Arc welder if not better. 1/8" 6011 electrodes.
