Its usefull no dought but not prime shipping available so it will take longer than advertised. The buttons are quite loud with no way to silence them and the dial to move the bolts is cheap plastic. I think the dial will breack over time but so far no issues and ive used it alot. The safe is big with lots of room and you can get an extra inch of hight by removing the thick piece of foam at the bottom that is great for protection. The shelf is ok but will probably bend with to much weight. I ended up cutting it in half and sticking them together for strength plus i needed the hight more. Overall i am happy with my purchase but think it was a little exspensive for what i receved. ... show more

Amazon shipped this box inside a box. Oops, the outside box was somewhat destroyed at delivery but the product box survived untouched. The safe was very well packed including solid plastic corners keeping everything intact. Instructions could be figured out and the device opened, AA batteries inserted and programmed. The manufacturer allows the combination to be 3 to 8 numbers. Wow, choices. Although massive screws were included, I chose to use my smaller screws to mount in a closet cabinet. I was very disappointed in the product, but you get what you pay for. I was able to purchase this safe at a discounted price. Amazon was able to deliver it in two days. After opening the box up, I decided to test and ensure the safe was working as expected. When I attempted to open the keyed lock, with little to no effort, the lock came out. Additionally, the safe door itself does did not open very wide. Maybe 60 degrees, instead of a full 90 degrees. This is one of those situations when you definitely need to see these products in the flesh to know what you're getting yourself into. ... show more
