I just got this opened out of the box, maybe 10 minutes ago. Didn't realize they were going to package the bed like Fort Knox. I read the instructions that came with it, keeping those for future reference, cut the black ripstop material away carefully because I can reuse that later. The bed started unrolling before I was even done, so, of course the curious 4 year old pup came in to see what I was up too. I purchased the XL bed for her. She is a mix of Chocolate Lab and Catahoula Leopard Hound, so she is 71 pounds of lean muscles with long skinny legs, but that wide deep chest and head of a Lab. I am sure I heard her snickering at me when I was trying to shake out the bed as the instructions say to do, to help get some fluff back into it because the bed is almost as tall as I am. I am only 5 ft. Once she started sniffing the bed and the tail started wagging, I figured she was good to go, so I put it down on the floor for her. She immediately went to it. Those pictures were taken as soon as I laid down the bed and could grab my phone to take them. I bought this bed, so that when she doesn't have an available seat on the couch or love seat, she won't have to sit on our hardwood floors. She has arthritis is both hips and hip dysplasia that is pretty serious in her right hip. I wanted something that was going to go with the color scheme of our living room and it matches better than I thought it would. The shape of the rectangle is perfect for her. I love the fact that this is machine washable and dryable, however, this extra large size will never fit in our washer and dryer so I'll have to take it to the Laundromat when I take my duvet and comforter. It doesn't have a zipper on it because you can throw the whole thing in the washer and dryer like I stated. Not sure how long this will last or what kind of durability it has, I'll have to come back in 6 months or a year, if I remember and update on it. Her last bed was one I had made as a floor cushion for my kids ages ago. Probably about 10 years ago is when I made that one, it made it through 2 moves, and 2 boys. 1 who is now 21 and the other is now 14 going on 15. We decided to throw it away last year when our pup got very sick after eating something she wasn't supposed to. We never figure out what it was because she cleared it out of her system over the weekend, but she had, well, a bathroom accident on that big square pillow that at the time was about 9 years old and had only ever been spot treated. We made the decision that if the boys really wanted another one, I could make another one as I still had all the stuff to do it. They didn't want one and I figured that wasn't going to stand up to a dog, especially dog nails. All in all, she loves it, the packaging says to give in 24 hours to fully re-fluff or throw it in the dryer for a few minutes. I am not about to push her off her new bed when I can finally take the covers off my couch cushions and wash those. ... show more

Amazed with how cushy this is! I just received it and it hasn't been washed yet so I can't vouch for how it will hold up long term. But I can say that right off the bat, my small breed dogs settled into the plushness of it. I'm hooked and will purchase this brand again in the future. Lots of bang for your buck! I bought a similar type of bed from a very popular on-line pet supply company. The name rhymes with phooey! It was not even half as thick and deflated in a matter of a few short weeks. It was more expensive but definitely not quality. Don't be hesitant to purchase as I'm pretty critical and an avid fan of reading customer reviews. I took a chance and so happy I did! Edit: Not all made alike, I'm sorry to say. I recently ordered the same bed in the pink. It was half the density of the gray one. So you need to be vigilant of that fact. If it's your first bed from this company, then you have nothing to compare it to, and it's the luck of the draw. Have washed my grey bed since my review and it washed and dried beautifully and quickly. Still in love with this doggy bed and my doggies are too! My 58-lb. pit bull mix likes tearing up his stuffed toys and takes the stuffing out of them. He discovered that he could rip a corner open (He is a heavy chewer), and I found poly batting all over the living room. I scolded him, restuffed the bed and sewed the corner shut with nomex lacing cord ( and made him watch!). Since that day, I have had no more problems and I gave him a towel to rough up... I only say this because a "NORMAL" dog would not do this! He now lays on this like he should, so perhaps this was my issue. He does not tear up his memory foam bed, so consider your dog breed and it's habits of chewing. This will be fine for a dog that is not as high strung as mine! It washes beautifully and will dry in a reasonable amount of time. ... show more

    • Super Soft and Plush - Machine Washable

Longevity: I bought two of these for my 50lb Huskies in February of 2023. Based on current use I think they will last me about 1 year. Washing: I have already washed them multiple times and they hold up okay, you have to be sure to transfer them to the dry on low heat right away though or they do mildew. Due to their size they are also difficult to wash entirely, so I recommend washing and then turning the bed and washing a second time to the entire thing gets wet and soaped. Softness: One of the softest beds I think I have ordered my dogs and they love them. One of my huskies love adjusting git every night to make a nest. They are also very plush, at least a few inches think. You cannot feel the bottom of the crate through it at all. Not firm at all through, so not going to provide any structural support at all if that's what you are looking for. Weight: They are super lightweight wish makes them easy to transport when we bring our dogs places. One of the best prices I've seen for this type of item. Would recommend. ... show more

I ordered 2 of these for my greyhounds (67 & 84 lbs). While I wouldn't say they'd be super for a heavy/bony dog as an everyday bed, they are wonderful for travel. These beds have a decent amount of stuffing and the fabric is super soft. They're lightweight and flexible, so transporting to and from the car is easy, despite their size. The fact that they're machine washable, though, is probably the best feature. Very satisfied! ... show more

My 75 pounder loves it. Love that it is washable and durable. She is one of those dogs that paws and scratches her pillow to fluff it “just right” and this thing stand a up to that abuse.
