I finally settled on the XL size after reading all the reviews and this size is perfect for our pit bull mix granddog. She weighs about 50 pounds but she is long and lanky. This size will enable her to stretch out as much as she wants. After I opened it, I fluffed it up, per the instructions, and it looked pretty good. Now, two days later it looks terrific It has now fully expanded and it seems quite comfy. My cat also loves it. He plopped himself down right in the middle of it and took a nap. Since I just got the bed two days ago, I have no idea of the durability, but it seems sturdy enough. I am well pleased with this bed. ... show more

This dog bed ROCKS!!! I have so needed one that I could just throw in my washing machine and then just dry in the dryer…and I have finally found it. My 122 lbs German Shephard, Myka,loves them…yes I bought two! As many of you know, German Shephards have their own strong scent; so, it was very important for me to find something that could be washed. I have washed them several time and they are just like new.
