  • Walking while working makes me happy
I’m only in week 1 of owning the walking pad and I’ve used it every day for at least an hour. It’s not the lightest and I could see how some might consider it bulky, but I’m a petite woman in a 12’x12’ home office and it fits me and my space very well; I’m also able to lift and move it without issue. I purchased this when moving to a fully remote job and I’m very thankful I did, as I’m very much a busy body and often buzzed around the corporate office. The weather is cold now so getting my walks in are made very simple with the walking pad; and it’s convenience allows me to do shorter, but more frequent walks throughout the day. For me, the pad feels quite sturdy under my feet, like I don’t bounce around on it/doesn’t feel like it’s going to break under me. One thing I did need to get used to was that this belt is not as wide as a typical treadmill. If someone is aware that they may take up more space, or prefer more room to work with, then a compact treadmill like this isn’t for you. Other than that, I didn’t have any trouble getting the pad up and running. The remote isn’t intuitive, but it’s just very simple/basic, but it works just fine! I even like that it tells me the amount of time I’ve been on it and my step count. Simple and sturdy. If you work from home full time and can commit to more movement throughout the day, the walking pad can help make great changes to your health. Having it does nothing, using it is the key. I felt it was worth the money and so far do not regret such a large purchase. Purchase a bottle of treadmill lube also (don’t need an applicator). I will certainly update this post if I begin to have issues with the quality or technology. ... show more

  • Perfect addition to your WFH job for some light cardio while you work
Comes in a pretty hefty box but was easy to assemble and get up and running. The remote is easy to operate and the folding of the device itself seems reliable and secure. I use this on a carpet floor and it has been working just fine! I've been able to add an extra 200-400 calories burned per day according to my apple watch and easily hit the 10k steps on a daily basis! Pros: - Easy to set up - Relatively quiet, I don't have to turn up my speakers and people don't hear it over calls - Easy to maneuver with the wheels - Suitable for slow walkers and speed walkers (I can get up to a very light jog on this) Cons: - Remote seems to lag when you first activate it and you have to cycle to different screens to view a certain window (more of an annoyance) - The app that it asks you to download seems. to not be available in the USA (not that its needed) ... show more

  • So far so good
So far so good. - Nice addition to my standing desk. - Produces an average amount of noise. (nothing terrible) - Remote displays steps, time, calories burned etc. - Folds, easy to store. - Not to heavy. (could be a little lighter though) - Can run without the app - Good number of walking speeds. - Long walking space. Plenty of room, I'm 6'3. Not so good. - A little squeaky on initial start. (even after oiling) Eventually the squeaking goes away. - Cord plugging into the front is bad design in my opinion. I have to remove the cord every time I want to wheel it to a different location. This is somewhat inconvenient if you plan on using it on and off multiple times throughout the day. Overall I am happy as long as it holds up for a long time. It does what I want out of a treadmill for the most part. - Have to activate it with the app. WHY? This makes no sense. It should be able to start without using the app. The app also seems sketchy. And it only displays metric units of measurement. I uninstalled it after activation. ... show more

  • Features locked behind a broken app, and "automatic" mode doesn't work
In order to "unlock" all features, like automatic mode and faster speeds, you have to download an app and install it. The Android app has a whopping average rating of 1.6 stars, because IT DOESN'T WORK. The app is glitchy and, on top of that, it requires that you register and create an account to use it at all. Many users report being unable to connect to the walking pad at all. I was able to connect, fortunately, but the beginner's training mode fails to run. When demoing the "automatic" mode, it requires that you stand on the front of the pad to get it moving. Standing on the pad does nothing. Meanwhile, it comes with a remote that lets you turn the pad on and off, and control its speed. But the max speed is locked until you complete the broken onboarding step through their app, which you can't do. And if you ever use the remote to stop the pad, it stops working altogether unless you hard reset the walking pad. The remote just says "wait," not allowing you to start it up again. Overall, I like the idea. The pad itself seems well built. But locking basic functionality behind a broken app with a 1.6 star rating is a questionable choice. I'm not sure how this thing is rated so highly. UPDATE: A few months later, I've gotten a fair amount of use out of this, but overall the experience is still poor. Today, for example, I was walking on the treadmill only to have it suddenly stop; not gradually, like it usually does when it turns off. It just stopped. That's extremely jarring and a safety hazard - imagine running on a treadmill when it suddenly stops. The treadmill didn't function normally until I cycled it's power. ... show more
