I bought this treadmill a little over a year ago to use with my standing desk. So far I mostly like it. I confess to not using my treadmill until recently. I bought it and then did not use it for a long time. So, even though I have owned it for over a year, I have not put it through its paces yet. First off, I like that it is rated for users up to 265 lbs. While I do not weigh that much, I am over the 220 lb max for so many other under-desk treadmills. That said, I am not convinced that it can actually handle my weight over a long period of time. I am concerned that it is going to burn out, as so many other users have reported. When I first started using this, I found it very difficult to be productive. My brain was not calibrated to walk and perform complex mental tasks, and since I am a programmer, I really need to concentrate when I work, as I spend much of my day problem-solving. That was a really difficult adjustment for me, as I am not a multi-tasker kind of person. My initial frustration led to my putting the treadmill away for a year before giving it another try. This time around, I started out just walking 30 minutes first thing in the morning when I was reading e-mails and gearing up for the day. I gradually added 30 minute sessions as I slowly began to be able to walk and think at the same time. So I am doing 30 minutes on and 30 minutes off. I am up to a total of three hours walking while working spread over my 9 hour day. I bought a much longer power cord for it so I could move it out of my way without unplugging it when I need to sit. I like that it is light weight and moves easily. The biggest issue I have with it when walking on it is the narrow belt. At 16 inches, I find my feet at the very edges of the belt, and often the outer part of my shoe hits the rail. So I need to dedicate constant mental bandwidth to making sure my feet fall on the belt, which of course makes it distracting as I am never able to fully concentrate on work. I am hoping that the neuropathways for precision walking get wired up in my brain soon, because it is dumb to have to concentrate on your feet when you are trying to read or type or think of things other than your feet. Fast forward a couple of weeks, and I decided to walk while I was watching streaming content. I figured it would be better to walk while I watch than to sit down, since I already do so much sitting at work. So I pulled the treadmill away from my desk and raised the bar so I would have something to hold onto while using it. The bar is tilted forward pretty far, I think for running, so in order to use it while walking, I just did not clip it in place. I did not mind that it did not support any weight, I just needed the bar to make sure I did not slip off the thing while walking and watching streaming content, and it was fine. After about 2 hours of walking, the treadmill started giving off a funny smell, like something was burning or about to burn, so I stepped off and ended my session. There was no damage to my floor, thankfully, and the treadmill worked just fine the next morning. From this experience, I have concluded that the treadmill is not designed for continuous use, which is a disappointment, as I had wanted to work up to walking at work all day long. I have begun shopping for a replacement for the inevitability of product failure in the possibly near future. I have not deducted any stars yet, because so far it has not actually failed, and it is, after all, a budget treadmill, so while I am a bit disappointed by its limitations, I think those limitations are to be expected at this price point. I really like the Lifespan under-desk treadmills, as they have a wider walking pad and are rated for many hours of continuous use. However, the Lifespan is a lot heavier that my little SuperFit, and will probably not be as easy to move out of the way, and unlike the SuperFit, the Lifespan cannot be stored upright when not in use, which is a huge bonus, and major purchasing consideration, for a person who lives in a very small space, like me. I really wish I could find an under-desk treadmill that was able to handle continuous use, was a 2-in-one so I could use the bar while watching streaming content, could be stored upright when not in use, and could handle more than 220 lbs. Sadly, my dream under-desk treadmill is a unicorn and not available irl. Pros: Light, easy to move, can be stored upright, has a bar that can be lifted when desired, rated for users up to 265 lbs., affordable if it does not fail. Cons: Not built for prolonged continuous use, narrow walking belt, gives a burning smell if used more than two hours, and probably not built to last very long, not really affordable if it fails. ... show more

So far I have enjoyed my new treadmill and the simplicity of its features. Great for space saving, as it’s compact. I did buy sliders to move it easier under the bed on carpet as it’s relatively heavy (not a bad thing!). Maintenance seems simple too. Very happy with my purchase!

I’m in my late 60’s and this review is written with others like me in mind who are in same age range or older, especially if it’s their first treadmill. Out of the box the setup was easy but the treadmill is heavy and may require a 2nd person to help. It is portable if you’re moving it forward or backward. The two front wheels do not swivel. Don’t expect to easily slide it sideways under a sofa or bed for storage. I use an area rug with no backing on bare flooring to move it into place while using. The machine doesn’t move while I’m using it on this rug. You may try furniture coasters to move it sideways under furniture but don’t use the machine with these coasters in place. I’m able to store it under a king size bed with typical double twin frame. It rolls fairly easily under one side pushing/pulling from end of the bed. It cannot be stored in upright position! The bar is useless for support. It serves as a cradle for phone/tablet(mounting is included), the safety cord & when raised the bar allows the speed to be increased beyond 2.5mph. The belt can be used with the bar lowered but only up to 2.5mph. If the bar is raised the magnetic plate for safety cord must be in place. I use a chair back for balance. It helps me have better upright posture and keeps me centered on belt. I have a long stride and can find myself drifting to back roller. I walk at about 3.0mph. I don’t grip chair nor lean on it. It’s just there for balance. I’m not a runner and will never run on this machine. The electrical cord is short, about 5ft & attaches to right front side as you stand on belt. If you need extension be sure to use a 3 prong grounded(outdoor type) cord and be mindful of tripping hazard once you’re off the machine. THE BELT CAN ONLY BE RUN BY THE SMALL REMOTE (included)! There is an on/off switch near cord connection but all other functions are controlled with remote so don’t lose it! Digital display shows speed, distance, calories burned & amount of time in use. There is no cup holder. I suggest pockets for remote. My husband wanted to hang caddy on chair back for me but I have no business reaching for anything when I’m using the treadmill. There is no pause feature on this machine so you will either have to stop it and lose all the saved STATs for that session or slow it to lowest speed to safely step off for quick break. If you power off the machine with the remote the belt speed will quickly decelerate and come to ‘rude’ abrupt stop. It’s better to manually lower speed then step onto side rails when it feels safe to do so then power off the belt with remote. There are 2 bottles of lubricant included but it is difficult to control the amount used under the belt once it’s loosened. You can find products on Amazon that include a long tube attachment making it easier to apply the silicon when needed. The belt felt dry underneath when the treadmill first arrived and I was afraid to use it without first adding lubricant. I’m a visual learner and the manual was not clear to me how to loosen belt before applying silicon or tighten belt with included allen wrench. I found some good videos demonstrating loosening, applying silicon and especially tightening & realigning the belt if it becomes off center while tightening. All of these videos were demonstrated using this treadmill. One especially helpful video by a treadmill maintenance man. In conclusion I’m happy with this treadmill as I’m able to walk in the comfort of my home during high temperature summer days. At the time of this review I’ve been using it for about 5 weeks with no issues. Good features: when it works it works and is a great tool for indoor walking. Terrible features: I used it about 20 times 3 years ago after purchase and then stored it in my basement office. Tried to use it recently and within minutes it starts smelling like burned plastic/electrical wires burning. For a product that was so minimally used, at this price, i would expect full function at 3 years. But apparently that was a wishful thinking DO NOT RECOMMEND this product. ... show more
