    • Ruined birthday present…
The device itself feels reasonably sturdy until you put the handle bar on. Again, the price should tell you the quality of the workmanship. The real problem came when trying to use the remote. It is so flimsy that any push of a button alters the shape of the remote, no matter how slight of pressure is applied. It would turn the treadmill from an off indicator to a blank screen, which indicated by account that it was turned on, but none of the other controls on the remote worked. Through random pushing of buttons, it did turn on at one particular moment, but controlling the speed was next to impossible. We turned it off because we couldn’t get it to slow down properly.     • Fantastic for limited mobility
Since a back injury and subsequent operation and over a year of recovery I have permanent nerve damage that affects my legs. I went from able to do 100 squats no problem before the injury to now I can't even do one without holding onto something. My right leg is still pretty impaired, and it's really easy to strain it too much and cause pain. I've tried various exercises for "limited mobility" (because being down for 8 weeks waiting for "emergency surgery" and them 6 months of learning how to walk again and not being able to move resulted in gaining 40 lbs) I've tried steppers, stair climbers (as long as there are handles or railings I thought i was good) and just nothing was doable, but I can walk. It's slower than nornal people sure, but I can walk and this weight has to go. This machine is a god-send. Simple once you get moving, does exactly what I need it to do and no pain afterward! However I do agree with a few reviews, the belt DOES slip and it's noticeable. But you're not getting "quality" for $200. So it gives me what I paid for and what I need it for, and until that belt comes flying off and sends me to the floor I'm going to use it! ... show more

This is a perfect size for the room that I am utilizing in. Easy to put together, but the only issue I have is that the remote doesn’t always respond, which gets frustrating. When the remote does respond, it works perfect for just walking while in a meeting or watching TV

    • Easy to control, store, and use!
I was so impatient while waiting for this to come in the mail. I have been looking around for a good walking pad for a long time but price has always been a major factor in my decision as to which one I was going to pick. Then I found this one! The first thing I noticed, before even opening the box, was how light it was. I was expecting it to be so much heavier. It’s under 50 pounds! I finally got to plug it in and try it out. I set the handlebars up, lubricated the treads, and started walking. It felt so good to be able to walk and do whatever else I wanted (work, watch TV, TikTok, etc ...). Yes, you can work and walk since this can fit under most desks! I took it through all 3 modes (walking 0.5-2.5mph/jogging mode 2.5-4mph/running mode 4-6.5mph) all while watching a TV show. The average walking speed of an adult is 3 mph, and the average running speed of an adult is 5 mph, so the 3 modes are more than enough for everyday walking/running for anybody. It also tracks 3 stats: speed, calories burned, time, and distance. I live in a VERY rural area of Vermont. Our yard is large but it doesn’t have the most friendly walking terrain. Not to mention it has about a foot of snow and it is currently 22 degrees F outside right now. So, no thank you, I will not be going outside unless I absolutely have to. But I still want to be able to walk and keep some semblance of health about me. This is why this product was so important for me to have. Not just for myself, but also for my elderly/disabled mother. I used it for about 2 hours the first day and it worked great! I had 0 issues. There was no slippage, no stopping, no squeaking, and it didn’t slide around the hard wood floors like I thought it might do. For that 2 hours, I would have thought I would have been in so much pain after, but I think the shock absorbing tread actually makes a great deal of difference, especially when paired with a good pair of walking sneakers. My mother is almost 70 years old, is disabled, and wanted to have a place to walk because she’s having trouble with her legs getting weaker and weaker. We just had to get her moving around more. This was our answer. She also has knee, back, hip, joint, and shoulder problems so this machine was practically made for her. She used it and like myself, also greatly approved. She had no problems and while she couldn’t use it for very long her first time, it was the longest walk she’s been on in a couple years. Every walk after this will help to strengthen her legs and joints more and more. My biggest fear is my mom losing the use of her legs because I am her caretaker and I would not be able to do everything for her then as I do for her now. I am hoping this will keep her from losing the strength she has left. So far so good. I was worried it might be a little too fast for her but she kept right up! She walked at 1.00mph for about 12 minutes and had to stop after that. I was surprised she was able to go that long, but she did. We were both very happy with the width of the tread, which is 16” across. All in all, this treadmill is a god-send. It’s so lightweight and easy to store, especially with the wheels. You can wheel it right under your couch or bed since it folds up to under 5”! It comes with silicone lubricant to start you out, but I would purchase some more soon because you’ll go through what they give you pretty quick. Be prepared so you don’t end up burning out your motor. I feel like the manufacturer, NXSCI, really knows their customer base because they added the handlebar, they added the 6-layer shock/noise absorbing tread, they made it easy to store, the weight limit is 300lbs, and they included a remote (with an extra battery) which makes controlling the treadmill so easy! My brother who is easily 290 pounds, tried it and he was still able to maintain the speeds of 0.5-6.5 mph without making any more noise. I was expecting some squeaking or slippage, but the treadmill went on and on like the total babe that it is. With the remote, you can read and scroll through your stats/modes on the LED screen that’s located on the walking pad. Having the remote is so nice because now you don’t have to stop and mess with settings or take your eyes off the pad for too long. I was impressed by this little machine. It puts out a lot more power than you would expect. It runs smooth with little noise. It’s a pretty sturdy walking pad, made out of alloy steel, so I bet with care this thing could last for a long time. I definitely recommend you getting this. I had so much fun with it and it gave me hope for a healthier future. I am autistic/ADHD and have an extremely hard time with meeting my basic human needs sometimes (so going to a gym was just not for me). Not to mention the fact that I hate being around people/being seen. So an at-home gym experience is my only answer. The fact that I spent the money on it and it’s sitting in my home gives me the motivation to use it. This gives me that privacy/freedom to exercise whenever I want to, wherever I want to, doing whatever I want to. I hope this review helps you figure out if this is the right machine for you.
