This walking pad is extremely convenient. It has allowed me to walk consistently everyday because I don’t have to go to the basement gym and be away from my family. It lives in the living room and is easily stowed away under the couch within minutes. It’s quite as can be, considering it’s a machine with a major moving part (the belt). Pluses: 1) it’s quiet. I received a loud one at first, I returned it and got a replacement and it has been great. 2) it’s moveable. This is a sturdy machine. It has to be or it can’t support your moving weight. However, the casters at the bottom on one side (for safety) allow it to be moved and slide under furniture with ease. 3) unlike some other ones, this particular model shows distance in miles, not kilometers. That’s a plus for us Americans. We don’t have to convert our mileage. 4) trouble shooting is simple. If the belt is bearing left while you walk, you just crank it with the provided wrench and it immediately corrects itself. If you do too much, you just adjust the other side. It took me 5 seconds to do it and it hasn’t gotten misaligned again. I’ve done 75 miles on it after. Cons: 1) it’s narrow. But that’s by design. It’s meant to be narrow so that it’s portable. This isn’t a full sized treadmill so don’t expect it to be. That also means that you must pay attention. If you are not centered, you WILL fall. I did - twice. Instead of returning it and getting a model that has handle bars, I just put two chair backs on either side and use them to keep my balance. That works for me but it is a compromise and if I had it in me to return it, I would pick the handle bar model. But I do have bad balance to begin with. So use your judgment. 2) it does NOT keep time. If you accidentally press “stop”, it will stop withOUT a recorded time or distance. So if you’re keeping track of your progress, you won’t know how many calories, distance, or time. I find this one the most annoying of the flaws. I make it a point to glance at my time and distance BEFORE I end my session. 3) you must use the remote to stop, start, increase or decrease the speed. The remote has a loose wrist band so I wear it on my wrist while I walk. You can also thread it through a lanyard to keep it hands free. 4) it does not have an emergency stop button to pull. All in all, I recommend this walking pad for this price point. I would probably have gotten a different model for my specific needs, but as it stands, I’m happy keeping this one. ... show more

I wish I would have bought this long time ago. It makes it so easy to get to it steps in and it takes just a little bit of space. The wheels make it easy to move it around. The only disadvantage is that the cord is not long enough and you need to be pretty close to the plug which sometimes makes it harder if you wanna face a certain way througtrout your house.     • More Steps During Winter - Love Walking in My Home

I didn't get this to use while working, but for use in my basement apartment after coming home from my office job. I don't have the opportunity to get many steps in during the day. Even when I try to make plans to go out and walk more, my ADHD just makes a big deal out of it. Have to get dressed, the wind is in my eyes, construction sounds, awkwardness of neighbors walking towards me on the same sidewalk for 5 minutes (why is this so uncomfortable for both parties), wanting to be done yet still far from home, just too much. This is game changer-- being able to hop right on in the comfort of my own home. 5 minutes or 1 hour at a time, in my pajamas, bathroom close by, etc. Winter is quickly approaching which will make it impossible to be outside in negative degree weather. A few things I will note: -I am 5'7 and if I walk on speed 3 or more I have to be aware of my steps in order to not step off. Opt for the larger one if you are taller, planning to jog, or simply don't want to have this problem. -Louder than expected. Mostly the steps on the treadmill are not quiet no matter how soft I tried to walk. If you are in an apartment that is not the basement/ground level, this could definitely be an issue. I won't use this during non day-time hours because I think my neighbors to the left, right, and above can hear it (old apartment). I also choose to wear headphones to block the sound a bit. -Setup was really easy (I just had to unpack it and then turn it on). I wish I asked for help to bring the package inside, it is pretty heavy. -Probably a personal problem, but watching vlogs or other normal TV while on this made me motion sick. I will opt for podcasts, interviews, etc. where the camera doesn't move around a lot. I don't have a table in front, I simply use an extendable tripod and my phone attached. Works great. Very happy with my purchase. I plan to leave it out and ready to go (instead of storing it after each use) because simply seeing it makes me want to jump on for a few minutes. ... show more
