The only downfall of this product is that there is no instant up/down adjustment on the arms. Otherwise this mount is outstanding. It is easy to put together, the only items you'll want that aren't in the box are a screwdriver and a wrench. It went up in just a couple of minutes, and it's sturdy and very well made. I like that I can put it flush to a wall because it does not need any room behind it. This is beyond amazing for the inexpensive cost. I would buy it again in a heartbeat. Also adding to the awesomeness is an array of additional arms and accessories for this you can find from Wali to make your setup perfect for you, all at great prices. I've got my office setup complete with three arms and two laptop trays and the whole thing cost less than a single arm I purchased from Amazon Basics. Handy thought regarding the laptop trays is that they're a nice size, and with the catch at the bottom, I've found I like to use it as a literature tray. I drop a book on there and it holds it at a nice angle to read from when transferring or referencing data. The trays do bounce some when typing, but much less than any other type of arm/tray system I've ever used. Highly recommended!

Now that Marie Condo's name has become a verb meaning to clean up, that is what I am doing to my desks and work spaces. I am going for minimalist desk space to place only peripherals and devices where I am working. Flat surfaces are getting eliminated as they attract clutter. I installed the WALI Single LCD Monitor Desk Mount on my primitive Anthro desk from the 1900's; then installed my 24 inch monitor and my 17 inch laptop on the included tray. This is a great kit! it lifts the computer and monitor off the desk and gives it a nice height and range of motion. Now all that gets to rest on that pristine corpse grey desktop is the board with all the letter buttons and that magical pointer gadget. It goes together pretty easy, I even looked at the instructions to make sure they were printed correctly. If you have ever disassembled, repaired, and reassembled your car's engine to have it start and run when you were finished- this kit will not challenge you. Read no further. The rest of my review will help the up and coming Makers: + This kit includes tools- but not all the tools. You will need additional wrenches that have integers and "mm" printed on the tool (like 10 mm). Wrenches with fractions won't work. they are the wrong size and they will make you think of 4th grade math. Save those wrenches with fractions for disassembling your car later. + You will also need some tools that have a Plus shape spike end- like the shape at the beginning of this sentence- with a comfy handle on the opposite end. The search term "philips screwdriver #2" on this very website will return a proper picture. These come in handy to manipulate some of the hardware that comes with this product. + The Laptop Tray provided with this product is a fine solution and will accommodate most reasonable laptop computers. My computer being anything but reasonable wants to slip off of the tray and head for the floor at nearly 10 meters per second squared. Consider adding anti slip mat, rubberized feet, or your favorite "hold in place technology". For the rebellious pedants who ignored my warning to "read no further", I know what a keyboard and mouse are, I know they are called metric wrenches, I know its called a Philips screwdriver, and yes- I strayed from the instructions and found some adhesive backed feet to put on the tray to keep the laptop in place. I know my audience, they call an Allan wrench an Ikea tool. I also know that my audience knows it is 9.89 m/s^2; its a little ribald humor to call it 10 meters per second squared. Its okay to have fun sometimes. Now I ask you: is it still a laptop computer if it sits on this product? Oh, and just one more point of articulation would have been nice in each arm. Motion is a little limited. Clean Livin' out!

When I first unpacked this stand, I was initially overwhelmed by the number of parts that were included in the package. I didn’t realize there were extra parts included to offer you two choices for how to mount the stand to your workstation. Once I got that sorted out, I relaxed a bit more and was able to assemble the unit single-handedly and mount two 22” monitors and a laptop to give myself more room on my desk. It was a bit challenging to move the arms to just the right angles and height, but I did get it after a few tries. I used the re-positionable clamp instead of the desk- through grommet mount. It feels very sturdy, and I feel as long as I periodically check the tension and tightness of the bolts, it will hold up everything just fine. I am not thrilled with the cable management clamps that attach to the round center pole, so I’ll probably end up looking for different clamps or even just velcro fasteners to loop around the post. The clamps that snap onto the arms themselves are fine and hold the Displayport and power cords in place well. I thought about dinging this unit a star for the weird center post clamps and also because the black coating on part of the round post is flaking off, but really, I can work with those things/cover up the cosmetic issues. I was super-impressed by the way the hardware was included in labeled, individual plastic compartments. The instructions were pretty good, too, although I would have liked the print to be a little larger - once you hit your forties, you reach for readers or have to get up close and squint to see small print… Overall, I’m pleased with this unit.

Needed to get my wife's monitors off her work desk at our house. It's a small room and in the corner. I did some research and found this option. It was easy enough to install and is very sturdy. Didn't take long to put together at all and it mounted to her desk easily. She opted not to use the laptop holder, just the monitor arms. It was perfect and the vesa alignment was great. Still holding up well after a few months of use; highly recommend!
