The cord is long enough to get where I need to go and I haven't seen any reports from the Google Home App of power issues. I also clipped the full circle connection to be a "U" shape to be easier to install to the back of the doorbell. Works exactly as intended... after about 30 minutes of troubleshooting. Ill try to save you some time. 1. It does not matter which wire goes to which screw 2. It will not power on without batteries installed to do the set up 3. When setting up you must select the wired option and select "Mechanical Chime" After this, when you check the Battery Level it should no longer show "Battery Level" instead it will display "external power status" when looking in general settings. I also wish that the size of the plug was much smaller because I had to cram it into the socket next to the plug I use for the blink camera. Other than missing instructions on how to set it up, when you actually get it set up, it works as intended! No more finding that specific tool to get the Blink off the wall to change the batteries! ... show more

Hard to tell what the actual result is. You need the batteries for setup..so I did that. Afterwards, I removed them..I mean--it's now POWERED, riiight? Nope. Home screen (Blink) said battery was low. A day later-cam is offline. Come to find out- it still needs the batteries?!?! High use cam, battery only lasted a month at best. We'll see if they die as quickly being 'powered' now🤷♂️ ... show more

Works awesome no problems I painted the wire white cause the apartments I live in doesn’t allow wire to be showing so I used double sided gorilla tape and white paint from Walmart for less than a $1 and used one staple at the top to hold the wire down the only thing is that it constantly always lights up blue but that is something that has to do with Wyze when hard wired ... show more
