At first review this swim set meets the expectation as described colors vibrant, top flowy, bottoms were shorts.. like vs shorties if you're familiar... Quality of the fabric is fine... you get what you pay for. You can't see through the top, but the fabric is definitely light weight than the higher end suits. I usually wear between an 18/20 and C bust, based on reviews, i ordered 4xl. Though the top was comfortable it was loose in the bust area. Bottoms - Prior to trying on, I did notice a little hole in the crotch area though... sticker was still present and it didn't appear worn. I tried on w undies that had stripes and i could totally see the stripes and their colors, but i'm sure if you go without OR with a solid pair under, it wouldn't be obvious and transparent. The bottoms fit nicely and was comfortable. I can't speak to how it holds up with use, since I didn't get to use it. With that, I'm returning the suit.. i may order a size down to see if the fit is better. ... show more

Surprisingly, this bathing suit is pretty much what it looks like in the pictures. It does feature spaghetti string straps, so it is cute, but if you're a plus size gal with some heaviness on the top - the thin strings are not very supportive (but you know this going in - you're buying this for the cuteness not the quality). The ruffled top is flowy and breezy, and hides the bulges just the way it shows in the picture. The shorts have a little stretch and hug they way they should. The quality of the material is not great - but again - I had that feeling going in considering the price of about $30 for both the top and bottom piece. So although it's not the finest quality but not terrible either, it's a good buy and that's why I give it 4 stars. I'm 5'4" and usually wear a 3x/4x. I originally bought a size 22 and I could have pulled it off just fine, but for my personal taste, i wanted just a tiny bit more coverage over my belly so I sent it back and reordered it in a 24. By the way, the return policy is 5-star. I printed a return slip, grabbed the original package, and dropped it off at a participating Kohl's. They did the rest and Amazon issued a full refund right way. So, give this bathing suit a try - there's nothing to lose. ... show more
