Initially, this safe was just fine. Reliable code entry, heafty deadbolts. I especially liked the opportunity to use up to 8 digits in your code. Full disclosure, I bought this protect items from a family member who lives with me, not necessarily from a stranger robbing my home. So I only needed it to withstand relatively low-grade intrusion attempts (this family member would not attempt to break in with any power tools or safe-breaking keys). This safe seemed perfectly sufficient for those needs— until now. Just over three months in, and I’ve discovered that this safe will open with no code or key if it is just bounced gently two or three times on a mattress. Or at least the specific safe they sent me will. In my opinion, this negates any positive attributes because it nullifies its entire purpose AS A SAFE. Wish I could return this thing so badly. ... show more
