This is a great scooter so far and I have been through at least 3 other scooters in this price range. I have 4 kids who all tried them out and they all agreed this is the best one. EDIT: We had 1 of our 4 scooter's latches come undone while riding. This caused a pretty bad accident for my daughter who was riding over 16MPH at the time. Apparently she hit a small bump and that caused the latch to open up and the front bar to begin folding in half. That is a MAJOR problem. We are returning for a replacement and, thankfully, none of our other scooters have had this problem, so I am hoping it's a one-off. But that's a real concern with any scooter and this one had it. The most important issues for me when shopping were the following in order of importance: 1. Battery Life If you have to constantly recharge, it's a no go. This scooter so far has been fantastic. We have been several miles and show only one bar down. Obviously for children and their weight it goes even further. Very happy with this. 2. Speed We returned the first scooters I tried because they only got up to 15.5 MPH, which is just not quite fast enough to be fun on straightaways. But this one gets to 19 MPH, which is about the fastest you want your 8-16 years olds riding at, so it's perfect. 3. Ride Quality We returned the last scooter, which did well on these metrics, but the suspension was a joke. So among the options here, I went immediately to the version with dual suspension and the ride quality is so clearly better than the other scooters. 4. Other Features The cruise control works the way all other scooters work. If it is set to On, it will hold your speed if you keep the throttle at the same speed for a few seconds. The headlights are the same as other brands. The breaking is better than the other brands. The tubeless tires are great and feel very sturdy. The size is spot on for children. Maybe a little tall for 8 years olds but they can ride anything. The folding works. The brakes work. It's cool to have the turn signals, but from the back nobody could possible see them. The interface is pretty easy and better and bigger than other ones. 5. Not sure It's not obvious how good the regenerative braking is (if it comes with this at all) because there is no indication of anything happening. But as I mentioned the battery life is great and we have yet to recharge after several sessions. The scooter apps don't tend to do much and so I haven't even tried the app for this. The only thing that would really make a difference is being able to lock the scooter. Not sure how foolproof that would be, but it's something. ... show more

    • Warranty doesn’t work if they don’t reply

This was the second scooter I purchased from VOLPAM. The first one is great so I got another one for my other son. He loved it, but after five months It suddenly stopped taking a charge and would not turn on anymore. There’s no visible or obvious reason or damage. Perhaps it’s the control board or a loose cable inside? The other identical and older one still works fine. I contacted the company through their website contact form three times with no response. Their website also states they have a 12 month warranty and to get a hold of them through Amazon, but as you can see if you look on this page, there is no way to do that. So I called Amazon customer service and they could not help me either because after 30 days I’m obviously beyond the return window. Warranty is useless if the company does not get back to you. I really liked the scooter as did my son who is really disappointed that it doesn’t work anymore after five months… I welcome VOLPAM to reply here and hopefully remedy the situation, and I will gladly change my review. I have wanted a scooter for a long time as I am a college student in a pretty big school, So I have to walk quite a bit sometimes. One of my long walks is 25 minutes to class and this walk made me want to buy a scooter to get there quicker and easier. I looked online for a nice-looking scooter and came across this one. I bought it and it was delivered perfectly. The assembly took just a minute and it looked super good. My first ride on it was very easy to handle and super smooth. My 25-minute walk turned into a 7-minute scooter ride. It was very fast and I felt in control the whole time. There is a light in the front to be safe about driving at night and in the app you can change settings like eco mode so you get more usage out of a charge. The app is good for controlling how fast the scooter goes and what mode to set it on. Overall, it is worth the money as it will save you lots of time and be hassle-free. ... show more

Update. Check photos. Don't know if it was like that when i got it but will hopefully get either fixed or replaced. Contacted support today and will update on resolution. Very disappointed this happened as i love this scooter. Everything else is great. Update. The app 365go doesn't work. There is aovopro app that does work. Incase there's issue just do that. Just have to get used to going 19. As I'm used to 15. 19 doesn't seem like a difference but it surely is. Just received today. Had 200 scooter with solid tires no suspension before. This one is a game changer. The suspension is great for bumpy and cracked terrain. Paired with solid tires just can't go wrong. The foot board is a few inches smaller than I'm used to but not a huge problem. Still enough space to adjust stance. Haven't tried app yet. Charging it for the first time now. Easy to fold. Light enough to be portable. 30 or so pounds. No need to push. Just press acc and it spins the wheel. I like the ringer. Can hear far away. Haven't used turn signals yet. Personal preference. Nothing against this scooter. I like thumb break. Just have to get used to this bike break. No big deal. I got this for 330 after taxes. Cannot beat this deal. This is the full package for this cheap price. Will recommend ... show more
