This just might be the perfect size for my project, the pump is just the right size for a 1-2 plant setup if not using a VGrow like myself. The tubing is a good length for one single plant, but there are plenty of options to get more 1/8" tubing on here to make it longer if you need to. My only 2 concerns are the length of the USB,( I may have to get some sort of extension) And I really wish I could set it up to an Automated style like the Vgrow but a regular timer or running it 24 hrs will do fine also. At the price they're listing, if you're doing a small personal garden, you can't beat it for quality. I have 2 of the bigger Flex Feed Automated ones that run my entire garden. Highly recommend this for any gardener or anyone wanting to try hydroponics but don't want to break the bank. ... show more

    • Not compatible with Vivosun Growhub smart controller
I understand the listing makes no reference to the Growhub smart controller. I decided to try it anyways because the growhub has an irrigation controller setting page in it and Vivosun sells no other pumps that they say work with the app or have a USB. I hooked it up using an OTG adapter that adapts USB type C to standard A USB. Powers up fine with a PD USC C type charger. However, when connecting to the Growhub, it will not work. I tried several variants using Vivosuns USB-C Y adapter to add a power source in addition to the Growhub. While I could get it to power up just fine, the Growhub would not recognize it. As an aside note, I also have an AC infinity smart WIFI controller as well. I was unable to get this to work on there as well. In that case, why does the Vivosun Growhub smart controller have an irrigation (or humidifier) setting when they sell no products or adapters that support it? I have even been to the Vivosun website to check just in case it was not sold on Amazon and they had nothing either. I am guessing these options for the Growhub were future plans VIvosun was planning to release but never got to releasing. In other words, vaporware. This just leads to the consumer (myself) being having a bad experience due to an confusing incomplete product ecosystem with gaps in it. The only reason why I bought this as opposed to a higher quality pump in the first place was to use out of the box with a smart controller. Because I can no longer do that, I am returning this, and buying a better quality pump I will just hook up to my AC infinity controller with their wall outlet adapter. ... show more

    • Works, but "might" add to the humidity problems some have.
This does work and works well, the problem is, the VGrow itself has a humidity problem IMO and once you add this, it seems to get a little worse or at least for me it did. I have 2 VGrows and 1 of these, so might do some testing down the road.

If you are using the vivosun Vgrow system then this is a must need especially if you want to take your self automation to the next level. With this pump it allows me to literally set it and leave it knowing that everything will be taken care of through the system. The best part is that the drip system connects directly to the app so I am able to control my drip settings no matter what ... show more
