  • Best WiFi Automatic Watering System
I’ve tried most automatic watering systems on the market and this one by far has the best app, WiFi connectivity, and overall reliability. However, while the piping and accessories that come with the system are very sturdy, but not easy to detach and configure. Also, the plastic spouts aren’t the best. But, since you can get some good piping, connectors, and spouts for less than $10 and this system is the cheapest comparably, I’d say it’s the best deal. Also, the system takes batteries which is super helpful for trees and plants you have outdoors that can’t access WiFi. (I left my plants for 3 weeks on this system and they were happy and watered when I came back. I used both the battery powered and internet connected method for this.) ... show more

  • Useful for a few plants but complicated with many
This is very useful for setting up an irrigation system while you’re gone. The Wi-Fi enabled app makes remote co trip of it great and easy to use. Just be warned. Every plant/hub you add to this will need to be fine tuned for how much water it needs. Each hub has a little valve that can be tightened or loosened to control the flow of water which is nice. BUT each stop away from the first needs more time for water to get to it. So finding the happy medium of how long to run the pump vs how opened or closed vs how close to the start of a chain takes a LOT of work to figure out. So plan your runs accordingly - maybe you want your bigger plants at the start so they get more water. Or maybe you need to keep the earlier plants in the chain’ valve closed more so they don’t get over watered. I’ll also point out the pump itself is not powerful. It can pump water up from a bucket in the floor to a plant on a window sill…. But once it’s there, you’re mostly relying on gravity to push the water to other plants. So if you have a T bracket the water will continue to run to the path of least resistance and perhaps not make it to the other direction at all. To sum up: this is great for a few small plants that need about the same amount of water. The schedule settings and remote control via phone app are great conveniences. This is quite the headache and takes a lot of work to to function properly with multiple plants and watering needs. ... show more

  • Impressed with this product.
The media could not be loaded. For me it is one of the best products I have found in this category; the configuration is easy and you can access it remotely; I also have it connected with a Lifestyle humidity sensor and paired with its application so that it works according to the reading of it. So far it works perfectly and also has good power. So far I'm satisfied; if I notice any changes, I'll let you know. ... show more

  • Great system, great value.
I purchased one of these systems and after setting up and trying it out I purchased another. The system itself works great and the WiFi app control is easy to set up and manage. There are a couple of things that could be better though, but to me it doesn't impact the value of the system. First, as others have mentioned, the included plastic tubing is VERY stiff which can make it difficult to arrange to the drippers and plants. You can heat it slightly with hot water or a heat gun to mold it as needed, but it would be better if the tubing they included was a softer plastic 1/4" tubing. The other thing is the included drippers. They work ok, but adjusting the flow is not very accurate. Hirally actually makes a different dripper with the same connectors that can be purchased separately that is MUCH better and easier to adjust. They cost approx $15 for 12 drippers, but I think they are worth the additional cost. Overall, compared to similar products on Amazon, the price of this system is much less, so the overall value even with the couple of issues makes it worth it. ... show more

  • Does not work
This is disappointing. This unit did not work. It connected to my WIFi with no problem, and I could operate it from my phone. BUT no water came out so it must be a mechanical problem. I thought it was an air gap so I dismantled it and reconnected everything, still no success. I will be returning everything. Just angry that I spent time putting this together only to find that the unit did not work. ... show more

  • very hard plastic tube

  • Works great. Very impressed.
Everything works good. Just a tip for new users. Make sure you click manual watering several times so water can get thru the system. Once the lines are all primed, everything works well like clockwork. Make sure spouts are tight where they need to because you can have lots of water spraying out instead of dripping. So the individual water quantity is nice for different size and types of plants using the same water line. Might purchase another system since it works good. Wi-Fi works great. Good app. I’m actually impressed. ... show more

  • Missing parts and battery back up is a joke
First thing I do anytime I receive products before I setup anything is open up the product sheet and make sure I have all the required parts. First thing I noticed going through the list is the back flow valve is missing which stops from water being drawn in and out when it’s not running. Second of all after putting the batteries in it let me connect it to the WiFi with ease which was pretty cool with just the batteries being connected. After 10 minutes my phone alerted me the pump has turned off and it will not turn back on until it’s plugged in. These a brand new batteries so that isn’t the issue. This does not run off just batteries you have to keep it plugged in to make it work and control the pump via WiFi. ... show more
