    • Easy to Set Up and Works!
I used this kit for my raised bed vegetable garden hooked into my rain collection barrel. The whole set up took about 30 minutes from start to finish. The instructions were easy to follow. Within a few minutes of setting the solar panel facing the south sun, I could hear the pump turn on, and see water begin to drip down the blue posts. The variety of timer options is really nice because you can set it appropriately for the weather; more often when it's hot and dry, less often when it's cooler. As someone else suggested, I laid the tubing in the sun for a little bit to warm it and make it more pliable before rolling it out. I liked that the system was easy to set up. Everything worked out of the gate for me with 1 small defect in the product. The solar panel is missing a notch within the connection to the spike stand and it slides out occasionally. Getting it set in the correct spot and leaving it alone worked fine. I have a container vegetable garden with 30 containers of veggies and herbs. I bought this drip kit and the add on to help make sure my plants were watered during the hot summers. I hooked this up to my rain barrel and set it to water every evening at 9. Even though that’s after sunset the system turns on and delivers the perfect amount of water for the plants.
