I bought this wifi temperature monitor after having a few issues with some freezers. I invest a fair amount of money in beef every year and have lost some meat in the past so having this as an option was a no-brainer. The alarm functions both my the hub flashing and beeping and by an alert on your phone if you have a problem. You can customize the parameters of when the system will alarm. The temperature readings seem accurate to what I have my freezers set at and also to some analog thermometers in the freezers as well. I had a small issue setting up one of the receivers but after reseting it it connected fine. The wire is flate and seems durable. The hub updates your temperature readings constantly so you can always your history. The app was easy to use as well. ... show more

This is awesome technology! I have two freezers and while I had digital temp sensors installed, they were not connected for remote reporting. The Mocrea freezer sensors and hub connectivity allows for great peace of mind. The hardware and set up are so easy and intuitive. The product is fantastic and keeps me aware of my freezer temp, my camper Inside temp and my camper underneath temp so I don't lose my meat, my dog or my pipes to temp extremes. Easy to set up and monitor from your phone. Ran into a software issue on one of the sensors after a year and Stephanie from customer service helped me diagnose the issue and replaced the sensor promptly. Thought I had another issue with the hub and got an email back within a couple hours (at night!) only to discover I had tripped the GFI outlet and the sensor was fine. Shout out to the best customer service I've ever gotten for anything and somebody give Stephanie a raise! ... show more

My husband LOVES this! He got it installed and the app on his i-phone, no problem. I, however, have an android and gave up once he got it installed on his. However, it is a GODSEND and I would highly recommend! We went camping for a week just after we purchased a half a beef, and last year our old freezer quit and we lost an entire freezer of beef, chicken, turkey, and ham. This year, we could tell if the temp in our freezers went up and could send someone to check it. I will purchase another set, we only have 1 upright freezer and 2 refrigerator freezers, but I will purchase another set and give the extra to my daughter. This makes me feel good about leaving home. This product greatly exceeded my expectations. First of all, you're getting a display screen with built-in apps, not just the temperature probe and a multi-segment display. The screen changes colors and flashes when your temp is out of range and can even display the weather and such. Yes it's very lightweight, but not what I expected at this price. The flat wire is thin enough to navigate door seals, though some leakage does occur. I'll eventually drill a hole in my standup freezer to run the wires. The range is exceptional, sensors and display are maybe 20+ft apart through multiple walls (and exterior walls) and there's no issue with communication. The app (on Android) appears to just be a port from iOS as even the Android back button doesn't work, but the app is still functional. Support says they'll be updating the app soon - we'll see. Notifications don't work but emails do. You set the alarm ranges in the app for each sensor and the hub responds accordingly. ... show more

I have a house in another state where they have very cold winters. We leave the heat on low. It is very helpful to be able to monitor the temperature and twice now I was able to take action when the boiler shutdown. The first time an alert sounded on my phone. The second time I was just checking on the status of the temperature. if I did not have this product in place, I would have had serious water damage to my property.
