With two freezers full of game meat and breast milk I had extreme anxiety about losing power or the freezers getting too warm. These are easy to set up and connect to the app. The alerts and being able to check the temp at any time any where is great for my peace of mind. The only thing is I was unable to get the suctions cups to stay attached inside the freezers.     • Auto defrost freezerz
First of all it does a great job and easy to set up and use. Accuracy is excellent. I have a regular freezer thermometer in the same freezer and it matches the average temperature reported by the Mocreo. My last freezer died and things started defrosting before I went to garage and heard the soft beeping of tge old freezers alarm. The replacement freezer is frost free freezer. I set the alarm on the Mocreo at 15F and it went off at 11pm the first night. The temperature was rapidly rising to a peak of 38F. That sent us into a panic. Just as quickly it started dropping back to its original temp of 1.3F. Total time of cycle was about 15 minutes. Turns out to keep the coils defrosted frost free freezers like mine cycle at least 3 times per day by heating the coils to remove any ice build up. This is built in to the freezer and you can't stop it or in most cases alter the cycles. Mine will occasionally go into this cycle if it detects frost build up on the coils. The temperature rise on these is far less and shorter duration than the normal cycle. When you look at the apps temperature graph the spikes caused by the defrost cycle are easily identifiable. To prevent alarms 3 or more times per day I had to raise the high alarm temp to 42 degrees. I wish they had a software toggle in the app for freezers like mine to address the frost free cycles. My refrigerators freezer is also frost free but its spikes are far smaller but more frequent (goes to 10F many times per day with same characteristic spike). That freezer is full the 21 cu ft freezer in tge garage is about 1/2 full right now. Another minor hint. The reset hole on the transmitter is very small make sure you position it so you can easily get at it if you need too. Once stuck on the freezer with the adhesive button its very difficult to remove it to push the reset. Overall an excellent product I recommend it as long as you understand the auto defrost issues. I just had a problem with one sensor which was no longer connecting to the hub.and reached out to them via their app. They responded very quickly and we solved the issue very quickly. I was very impressed with their customer support and response. Their responsiveness, positivity replacement of the malfunctioning sensor is another reason to highly recommend this product and brand. ... show more

    • Easy setup, not so easy to reconnect
I bought this thermometer for my garage freezer and the original set up was fairly easy. Then I updated my router and needed to update my connection on this thermometer. I could not find out how to do this through the accompanying paperwork nor through googling. I submitted a "ticket" to customer service to ask for help. After not hearing anything after a week, I emailed customer service and received a prompt reply with the instructions I needed. ... show more

Love the ease and setup of this product. I keep this monitoring system on my outdoor deep freezers where I keep lots of meat and it would be costly if my freezers went out without me knowing. I had one bad battery in one of the temperature sensors, but the quick response of the customer service team had me up and running in no time.     • You may not believe how good this product is!
The system works great! Each reading not only includes the temperature but the date and time. I receive real-time temperature graphs on my smartphone or computer. The graphs are of the day, week, month or year. You can even "zoom in" on the date/time you may be interested in viewing more closely. I have installed units within both a walk-in refrigerator and a walk-in freezer. Previously, I had to record the temperatures manually multiple times each week. That is no longer necessary. It will store two years of readings. I can download the data to my smartphone or computer. It will even send me an email if the temperature is not within the limits I set and then again when it is back within limits. It will even continue to record the temperatures for quite a while during power outages or during Internet issues. All the status is available on your phone or computer. It will even tell you the percentage of charge of each of the rechargeable batteries within the wireless sensors. The system was installed in August of 2023 and in June of 2024 the batteries still have more than 80% of their charge remaining without being recharged since installation. The only issue I had was because of my colorblindness. (Lights on the unit change color during installation.) However, the technical team is wonderful and helped me through the process.
