  • Good for a piece of mind.
Style: H5 Hub Kit
I bought this wifi temperature monitor after having a few issues with some freezers. I invest a fair amount of money in beef every year and have lost some meat in the past so having this as an option was a no-brainer. The alarm functions both my the hub flashing and beeping and by an alert on your phone if you have a problem. You can customize the parameters of when the system will alarm. The temperature readings seem accurate to what I have my freezers set at and also to some analog thermometers in the freezers as well. I had a small issue setting up one of the receivers but after reseting it it connected fine. The wire is flate and seems durable. The hub updates your temperature readings constantly so you can always your history. The app was easy to use as well. ... show more

  • Great product!
Style: H5 Hub Kit
This is awesome technology! I have two freezers and while I had digital temp sensors installed, they were not connected for remote reporting. The Mocrea freezer sensors and hub connectivity allows for great peace of mind. The hardware and set up are so easy and intuitive. I will be adding additional sensors for temp, humidity and water detection. The H5 Lite hub will accommodate up to 10 sensors. ... show more

  • These are so helpful - can save a lot of money
Style: H1 Hub Kit
I bought my first set when I lost all the food in our freezer when we were out of town and did not know that the circuit had flipped. Had we had the Mocreo set we could’ve notified a neighbor to go fix it! Moreo has a great app. You set your temperature range and it will notify you if it’s goes above or below your set range. The hub also beeps in addition to the app. Another way I have used it is as a thermometer in a house that we don’t live. in the thermostat had problems and sometimes it would be 90° and we wouldn’t discover until we went there. Once I got a second hub system that I just put there in the room. I have been notified when that happened again and was able to get it fixed quickly. I couldn’t be more pleased and satisfied! Best purchase I’ve made in a very long time. Their Customer Support is also amazing. One of my hubs got disconnected from the Internet and Stephanie kept helping me by email and following up diligently. It’s all working now. !! ... show more

  • Initial impressions. Liking it so far.
Style: H1 Hub Kit
GOOD STUFF Took only about 10 minutes or so to set up the hub with one sensor. It's working! It reports temperature to the app. Haven't tested high temp alarm for the freezer sensor yet. I like that you can connect the hub (required to receive wireless sensor signals) to your network wirelessly or with an ethernet cable. NOT SO GOOD STUFF Just a few quibbles... Even though this device does not require a subscription you MUST create an account, with an email address. I believe though that this is what allows you to monitor and receive alerts when away from home. By default temp alerts are NOT enabled. Hello!? That's why I bought that darned thing. Be sure to enable from the app after you setup each sensor. Instructions are a bit funky but I got through it using my finely tuned Jedi sesnses. ... show more

  • Customer service is Outstanding
Style: H1 Hub Kit
The product is fantastic and keeps me aware of my freezer temp, my camper Inside temp and my camper underneath temp so I don't lose my meat, my dog or my pipes to temp extremes. Easy to set up and monitor from your phone. Ran into a software issue on one of the sensors after a year and Stephanie from customer service helped me diagnose the issue and replaced the sensor promptly. Thought I had another issue with the hub and got an email back within a couple hours (at night!) only to discover I had tripped the GFI outlet and the sensor was fine. Shout out to the best customer service I've ever gotten for anything and somebody give Stephanie a raise! ... show more

  • Readings Are Not Stable
Style: H1 Hub Kit
The product was easy to setup, and everything functions correctly. I would have given it a five-star rating but during in viewing the logs the readings start fluctuating 0.9 degrees back and forth many times within 1 minute (I am basically measuring a room temperature which is NOT fluctuating 0.9 degrees). Then it settles down where the fluctuation is at most 0.1 degrees. For example, it occulated 85.1 to 86.0 18 times over 10 minutes. Up to 4 oscillations in one minute. Then it stabilized out at 86.0 for an hour. One time it when it was fluctuating between 70.7 and 69.8 it recorded 8 fluctuations in one minute. Normally the fluctuations are 0.1 degrees as would be expected. When it gets into this oscillation it is always 0.9 degrees. I have two concerns. One, this is going to use up battery life. Second, if it started oscillating around your alarm setpoint it may never alarm. I can see no pattern to what is causing these oscillations and how long they will last. A 67.1 to 68 oscillation lasted from 8:48 to 10:12 (84 minutes). For some application this kind of delay to an alarm could be a serious problem. For my application a delayed alarm due to oscillations like this would not be critical. ================ Update: May 8, 2023 I have changed my Overall Rating to 5 stars because of their great customer support in trying to help resolve the 0.9 F oscillations that I was seeing. Mocreo let me try two of their new ST6 sensors that are coming out soon. The ST6 does not oscillate like the ST4 sensor. In extended testing the ST4 sensors still goes into 0.9 F oscillations. As I stated earlier this is okay for what I was using it for. Customer support gave me early access to their new ST6 Temperature/Humidity sensor. The ST6 is like their square ST3 Temperature/Humidity sensor. The ST4 had a square base, but had a plug-in "bullet" style probe. I tested the ST6 against a very accurate "bullet" probe from Emerson that is accurate to within +/- 0.2 F. The ST6 never had any oscillations and when the temperatures stablized the ST6 sensors would catch up be within +/- 0.02 degrees of my Emerson bullet probe. The only issue is the response time for the ST6 to reach the actual temperature which was between 30 and 40 minutes. For measuring room temperatures that really is not an issue. I was also comparing out to 0.01 degrees. The Emerson bullet probe responds starts responding within 15 seconds and within a minute it is reading the new temperature. I compared the ST6 humidity readings with two other humidity sensors and the ST6 tracked within +/- 3 RH. I did not have calibrated humidity sensor to validate the ST6 reading. The ST6 tracked the RH changes. I hope Mocreo will come with an accurate and fast responding "bullet" style probe in the future. ... show more
