So far, these probes have been absolutely amazing. First thing you notice taking them out of the box is the weight. These are not cheaply made. It was easy to hook up to my phone with Bluetooth. From there, you can set desired temps for each probe, set times, and control all of the settings. The range in them are quite far also (almost 20 feet). I typically do 3-4 pork shoulders at a time when I smoke, so this is great for keeping the temp on all of them in 1 place. No wires coming out my smoker anymore with my old wired thermometer. The battery seems to last a long time between charging (says 25 hours in the instructions), so that will be great for when I do a brisket soon.     • FINALLY a good Wireless Stick probe set!

I've had/used many different BBQ temp probes over the last 10 years, and this is hands-down the BEST one. Packaging is attractive, the set up was smooth and simple to connect to WiFi. Adding it to the Inkbird app (already had it for another setup) was also simple and quick. Before using, made sure the sticks and base were charged, and ensured calibration with ice water. All 4 sticks read 32 with ambient temp sensors matching the room temp. First cook was just some dinner sausages and they worked fine. Within the app, I was able to set a custom cook type, including putting in a picture for easy finding next time. Dinner was delicious. Next cook was chicken breasts. Again, the app was easy to set a cook type with so many different meats and doneness levels to choose from or customize. Even had a setting for 'Early Warning' which you can set to be notified at different times before it reaches target temp. Dinner was again, delicious and chicken was perfect temp. One thing I noticed was that the ambient temp was a little lower than the temp my smoker was set to. All 4 were consistent, so it's possible my smoker's sensor is off. I also have heard that sometimes the temperature right around the meat is lower because of the evaporation of moisture at the surface of the meat. Much like sweating makes you feel cooler. Either way, everything was fine with the cook. HIGHLY recommend the 4 probe pack. I might not use all 4 every cook, but when cooking multiple cuts of meat of different sizes, and placed in different areas of the grill, this lets me make sure each piece is done to the right temp. For instance, cooking 8 different sized chicken breasts on 8 different spots on your grill, it would be impossible to use two probes to make sure all pieces of meat were cooked to perfection. Get the 4-pack. As I mentioned, I've used many different temp probes. Wired, wireless, bluetooth, wifi, etc.. This is the first set of Wireless Sticks that doesn't lose connection. With other wireless sticks, I was losing connection many time throughout the cook even with the base right next to the grill. The Inkbird sticks never lost connection. I've always been a fan of the Inkbird products, and I will be recommending this set to all my BBQ friends. ... show more

I've been searching for a wireless thermometer that's not only reliable but also super easy to use. This one checks all the boxes. Right out of the box, I noticed how well-made it feels and the display is clear and easy to read. But the real test was how well it performed. Accurate readings and the wireless range is fantastic. I can monitor my cooking from the other room without constantly hovering over the grill with the app. These thermometers will be getting a lot of use! Highly recommend! ... show more

    • Won't stay connected as others have reported

I really wanted to love this product and had high hopes and expectations. I have 6 other devices from Inkbird that are great... 2 connected to Wi-Fi and the App that I have my 2 aquarium heaters running off of to prevent a runaway heat situation if the heater's thermostat fails. 4 others that control a ceramic heater in reptile enclosures. Unfortunately, the wireless thermometers here fell short... Very short. The one probe I was using kept disconnecting from the base and my phone when the base was on the granite counter top 4 feet away from the probe... In a tray of baked pasta in the wall oven. Then the 3 Probes just sitting there charging in the base also disconnected. I could only get it to work without disconnecting, somewhat, if I stood right in front of the oven and held the base up to the oven door. It would even disconnect when I put it on the counter right next to the wall oven which would be about 1 foot away... and maybe 3 feet from the probe in the oven. Has potential to be a nice option... But unless the weak connectivity issues are resolved in future releases... I cannot recommend these. ... show more
