Well designed and manufactured. Great way to wrap most of the knee (front and back). I only give a four because the flex wraps aren’t that cold and don’t stay that way long. Very good. Like the fact that I can inflate if needed for more compression. I purchased for ACL surgery and surgeon was impressed that I had minimal swelling upon my post op visit. I was about to purchase a ice machine and this worked wonders. High recommend. Once we finally received this (the first one was mysteriously damaged in shipping and refunded and I had to reorder), we had high hopes. My husband had just had knee surgery and I have an old knee injury and this seemed like something we could both benefit from. The first challenge I noted was that, because the ice packs are frozen separately, you have to stuff these incredibly cold things into tiny stretchy pockets and the amount of contact they have with your skin is honestly too much. You should have more fabric between the ice pack and your skin to avoid damage. You have to wrap your knee before you wrap your knee. Secondly, there is a small white valve on the top of the brace that maintains and releases the compression. Due to a series of unfortunate events, we do not have one anymore. Without this, there is no compression option. I contacted the seller and, while their reply was prompt, told I'm S.O.L. and to buy another one. I was also cheerfully asked to leave a Yelp or Google review, but I thought this would be better. No one is looking on Yelp before buying on Amazon... Essentially, the idea is great, but the execution lacking. Will not be purchasing a third time. ... show more

I bought this for myself when I had knee surgery and it provided the cold I needed along with the compression. It was very nice to be able to wear it while I was awake or asleep. It helped relieve some of the pain in my knee from surgery.

I was looking for an ice pack that would do 3 things for me: 1. Be big enough to go around my entire knee. Most are too small. This one is big enough. 2. Stay in place. With the pump you can tighten it up enough to stay in place. 3. This has 3 ice bags that are removable. Two ice packs that fit in the front, one on each side of my knee. One ice pack fits behind the ice for cold completely surrounding the knee. This is an excellent product and I highly recommend for the reasons stated above. ... show more
