I've unlaced the shoe and it still happens. Walked less than 1/16th of a mile and the front part of my foot hurt so much I had to remove it during my walk. I wear an 8.5 in women's, but my feet and ankles are really narrow so most braces can be too loose for me. This one is adjustable which is perfect. I got the medium. It comes with some instructions which are kind of confusing so I just figured it out on my own. It has good support and rigidity. I received this today and didn't even break the seal on the bag. You can see tons of animal hair all over it and freaking SKIN FLAKES!! That is absolutely disgusting!!

It's a nice brace, does the job, but all the straps and the very poor instructions makes it very frustrating to put on, and difficult to use. And once on, a little bulkier than I like. I do like the firm support, but there are other simpler braces out there that do the job just as well.
