The material on these is excellent. They are very comfortable and made to last. The only problem is that they were too small for me. They said they would help out but I couldn't find out how to talk to anybody so I just returned them. You only get 30 days and if you buy a bunch of stuff like I did you don't get much time to try everything out and make sure they work and returned in 30 days. So I couldn't wait around to find out how to return them by talking to somebody. Who knows they might have said hey you're 30 days is gone too bad you're stuck with them now. You never know how somebody will react. Until you actually try to return something past the 30-day mark. I bought about 10 things. So you can see why it didn't work out for me to try to get somebody to answer my mail in time. Especially since I couldn't even find out how to contact them. They hurt to put on my legs because they were too small I bought the the size that it says to to buy I even measured them again after I had them and checked against the sizes on the internet. I have compression socks from the VA. And I went through a lot to try to get the correct size with them. But the VA is very cheap on giving you things. So I thought I would buy some extra socks to help me out. So I'm very disappointed that I had to return their knee and compression socks. I'm not so sure going up two sizes would actually work either. They're just way too tight. It actually hurt my legs and my feet within a minute or two. So if you're reading this, the company, I'll be looking on your site to see if you make your sizes bigger. Your quality is excellent once again. And I have small legs. I've actually had women tell me my legs look like they belong on a female. I just take that as a compliment. Because they're so good looking. ... show more

I purchased according to the size chart and these are a snug fit. I do have wider calves and that means my ankles are wide, too. I've been have pain in my achilles tendons and was hoping these would be supportive. They are to a point. Where after about 30 minutes my toes get cold. But I'm not sure a size up would change that. I purchased these to help protect both of my ankles during our hiking trails. They are very sturdy, good quality material, and provide great support especially if you have had previous ankle injuries. I wear them only during our hiking trails over socks. Fits well, I purchased a size L to be sure it wouldn't be too tight while over thicker socks especially in winter time. Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE these!! The support is incredible. My ankle is bone on bone from an injury from over 35 years ago and I’ve been having a lot of instability and weight bearing pain lately. I went to the doctor and they told me I need an ankle replacement and asked if I have tried braces. I’ve used other ankle braces before and stopped years ago because of cutting off my circulation and too bulky for my shoes. So I found these on amazon and wow! This is well made and supportive, but it just doesn’t fit my foot well. I bought the size according to the chart, but it was too tight across the top of my foot, and actually was causing pain. However, I don’t think a larger size would provide the stability that would be necessary. I have a very thin foot, so I think if you have a thick or wide foot you might consider going up a size if you are close to the next size up when you measure. ... show more
