We bought this has a Christmas gift for the parents but ended up deciding to keep it! From the moment you switch it on, the thing that really stands out is its incredibly realistic flame effects. The flames dance, jump, and flicker. We put it on our living room and it’s hard to pay attention else! The attention to detail is impeccable, making it hard to believe that these flames are not the real deal. My Main take aways are: 1. The flames are great. They have a ton of different preset colors to choose from. I like the white the best. You can also adjust the flame height. 2. The heat blower is really powerful. The couch is about 7 feet back and I can feel the warmth when I turn it on. It’s also independent of the flames. You can have a roaring fire visual without it getting too hot in the room. 3. This thing is massive. It’s really well built. I would recommend moving it with two people. 4. The timer function is nice. We use it a lot so we don’t accidently forget to turn it off. 5. The remote brings it all together. Is fairly simple and not very big. It’s nice changing the settings from the couch. 6. It comes with a wall mount already on the back. We currently just use the included floor stand but we plan on recessing the wall and giving it a permanent home. In conclusion, this thing is awesome! It’s realistic flames, sleek design, and powerful heating are exactly what we were looking for. It’s more than just a heater, it really can make a room stand out! TIP! The instructions say the glass cover slides out, it doesn’t that easy. You first have to remove the 4 silver screws on each side. My photo and video does not do it justice. Another stand out feature of this fireplace is the wide range of options it offers. It comes with multiple heat settings, allowing me to adjust the temperature to my liking.
