Viridain is a trusted name in lasers, so I had no problem choosing this. The 7 year warranty helped convince me. Because it is mounted underneath I had to change out my m-lok underneath bi-pod mounting to a side mounted m-lok bi-pod ( XAegis 5.7" to 8" Rifle Bi-pod found here on Amazon ) so the beam could fire without hitting any obstructions. Mounting was very easy if you take your time. I've seen many reviews where people had issues when mounting. I had none. This mounting was flawless I even relocated it twice and each time no issues. This laser is so bright you can see it at 75 yards in daylight. It allows for quick momentary acquisition and has held up under heavy caliper firing with no drift. The beam fires 1/4 from the down length of your m-lock for grip, so beam angle holds true from 50 yards to 100 yards plus with minor elevation. Some would argue about attaching a bright laser to this platform, but like I said the button is momentary. Acquire - Fire - Release. This laser uses the CR1/3N battery's sold by Viridian also found here on Amazon for about 10.00 for a 4 pack. They claim to have a 15 year shelf life. I'd order them since the laser only last's 1.5 hrs. ( That's why its momentary ) I typically list pros and cons on products I buy here on Amazon. For this product I could not find Con's, sure I had to swap out bi-pods but that's on me. If you looking for a underneath mounted green laser with finger grip hand stop then this product is for you. Just remember if yous use a m-lok bi-pod that mounts to the bottom of you m-lok rail you will have to replace it. ... show more

    • Strong laser. Zeroing issue
This laser is very strong. Can clearly see it in day time indoors. Night time outdoors I can clearly see it for atleast 100yards. The housing is plastic. The set screws for zeroing windage and elevation does not have a positive click. I believe that it's just a small screw held in by friction due to it's plastic housing but I am not sure. I would zero the windage to be parallel with my red dot at 15 yards and would notice a shift in windage every once in a while. I haven't been to the range in a few months so my carbine is just sitting. But every now and then I pick up my carbine and notice that the laser is a little bit off to the left of my red dot. I assume it is my laser that is off because my red dot is an aluminum housing and secured onto the top fairly tight. Not a huge issue but it is noticeably offset and just annoying if you precisely set it to be parallel. I still enjoy the laser. But wished that it had a larger area for finger grooves as only my index finger would sit on the groove and activation button. If I were to put my index and middle on it for better grip, my index would block the laser. ... show more

    • Super bright laser! Wow!
This is my first time owning a green laser sight and this was definitely worth the money! It's BRIGHT! It's got 2 small Allen wrenches included, one to adjust the sight and the other for mounting.. Great piece of high quality gear right here.. It's so nice not having some stupid laser with a power button so it's always on until you turn it off.. Or those ridiculous ones with a cord that runs to a pressure switch that you mount to your grip somehow.. Those are so 2000s.. This is the future.. The tiny discreet little button is so easy to press that you simply just place your hand on the device as you should around the hand guard and the moment you place your finger even ever so lightly on it, it turns on. No effort what so ever and the moment you let go, it turns off.. No one will make fun of you or be annoyed by the guy who leaves his laser on even when his firearm is pointed down.. Your not going to make your presence known to your enemy until the time comes just when you are ready to let them know it's time for them to meet their maker. Don't hesitate! ... show more

    • Compact and easy to install
Easy to install and its much smaller and out of the way compared to others I've used.. bright enough to be easily seen. Only con for me is there is no way to keep the laser on without holding the button the while time. Read some reviews saying its hard to install. Took about 2 minutes. Helps if you loosen the mlok screws so its at the very end of the screw. Turn it quarter turn so it locks, and pull that side of laser slightly away from rail, same with other side. That goes with any mlok and you'll get it to lock no problem. And if you're stripping the screws you're turning it way to hard. Not necessary. ... show more

    • You are a loser if you don't already have one
This has to be one of the best and innovative products to come out of 2020-2021. The bright green laser is daylight visible, in some situations. It's brighter than my crimson trace lasers that cost twice as much. The ergonomics are unmatched. I have 3, at this point. More planned for the future. Most experts say a visible laser is stupid to put on your gun. I have to disagree. They are not a primary aiming device. There are so many different odd situations when a visible laser can do something nothing else can. There will be a time when you cannot get a sight picture through your primary optic, or even secondary aiming device, such as irons. Now enters visible laser. You can place the firearm at any odd position, far away from your body and be dead-eye precision accurate. ... show more

This could be a great product. I was excited to purchase this laser because it seemed well made and high performance. Unfortunately it has a design issue with the placement of the switch. It should be on the other side so my finger wouldn’t be close under the muzzle. Also that way it would actually work as a hand stop... Second please for God sake get rid of the poor quality hex bolts. It’s soft and not true size. They stripped like a good hooker... It made installation a nightmare and took the joy away from purchasing this product. I had to buy an extractor tool and spend 45 minutes get it out and the nightmare to find a matching replacement off of the internet. A quality hard star head safety screw like what Vortex optics use is the industry standard these days, and it works! If anyone cares at this company, they should fix these issues and they ’ll have an outstanding product yielding to sales and become the best in class. The laser is bright and the quality of the product is great (other than the screws which I could still use a spare because what I found isn’t perfect).
