I've gone through a few red dots and this is by far the best I have used on my handguns. The red dot (I chose red) has three different options to choose from with varying brightness levels. Solar battery backup - what?? Battery is easy to replace without having to remove the optic from the handgun - very nice!! No re-zero fun... Now for the real test - I mounted it up on a SW22 Victory (.22 handgun with a bull barrel) and took it to the range to sight in. Longest my lane had was 20 yds - pretty far for a .22, but what the heck.. First 5 were on paper (low-left), next 5 were high-right, by my 5th series of 5 shots I was putting all 5 rounds in a 1.5" box at 20yds. Brought it in and shot at 10 and 15. It was ridiculous how accurate it was, looking through it was great and no abberations or weird optical coloring/shifts. The red dot was crisp (minus my slight astigmatism), intensity adjustments really helped, I LOVE THIS OPTIC!! ... show more

This is a very good pistol sight, and the price point just makes it a great value. Edit: I have not had the opportunity to check the site for maintaining-0- If it won’t hold zero, I will report back, and return the sight.

The BEST MOTHA$&:$$/!! Optic for the price. I initially bought $150 optic and thought that it would be just as good. I will not name the brand however once I used it after the first day at the range doing about 400 rounds, I could no longer locate the red dot and the screws Broke off, and there was no way to mount it safe to say that was the end of that optic so I figured spending $300 was well worth it , and oh man I was right !! ... show more

Mounted this to an M&P9 2.0. RMR plate worked just fine, had no trouble installing. This optic is a sight to behold. (get it?) The dot with the 32 MOA circle literally feels like cheating. Zeroed with a bore laser at about 10 yards and I haven’t had to mess with it. The green is also awesome and I haven’t had any issues picking up the target whatsoever, even with a sometimes less than stellar sight alignment. UPDATE to below: I received a replacement HS507C, and it has worked flawlessly. The reticle and brightness modes adjusted as expected, and when the optic is set properly, it's easily daylight bright against lightly-colored backgrounds. I installed the sight as an off-set backup to an LPVO on my rifle. It was easy to zero and serves the purpose well. I've been a bit rough with the sight, not taking any special care to protect it, and it has gotten bumped around on other rifles and smacked against a picnic table a few times. So far it has held zero well. Seems decently built. One criticism: if used as an offset alongside an LPVO, the control buttons are hard to reach, as they sit between the red dot and the LPVO (unless you're a lefty). ********************* I received a HS507C that had obviously been opened already; it had a 2nd sticker covering the original package seal. I could see through the sticker to the original, split seal below. When I powered it up, it did not function correctly. I could change between the available reticles without any problems, but the dot and dot/circle only had two functioning brightness levels. Neither of the available settings was daylight bright. I could only see the dot and reticle within darker rooms inside the house. If I pointed the sight at a lightly colored wall, or out a window, the reticle disappeared. Useless. I popped in a new battery to make sure that wasn't the problem. No difference. Amazon is sending a replacement, but there seem to be many people complaining about receiving open box items, so I thought I'd state that I also received an open box item. Buyer beware. I will update the review if/when I receive a functioning sight. ... show more
