This same model is available through many other manufacturers. I have had one for 4 years now. I wanted to have a second bench. This manufacturer's bench was cheaper by $20. It's more aluminum than cast aluminum. The feel and weight is definitely not the same, but not in a good way.

There are sharp metal shavings sticking out that have to be sanded or pounded down with a hammer or they can catch on clothing or scratch - I thought it was an easy fix but should not be this way

Perfect bench for our front porch! Adds charm and can observe my herb garden while relaxing. Only problem was one of the short bolts were missing and supplier said they were out of stock. Gave this bench to my husband for his birthday and he liked it very much. It was quite easy to assemble, even for two people who are not mechanically inclined. It looks great in our yard and seems quite sturdy. We are happy with it.

Was looking for something to place in my front yard and like the weathered look of this and from afar it looks substantial…not cheap. Only had it blow over one time in really severe winds.

Past similar benches out of this material have rusted away at slat joints after about 5 years outside in the South. Since this bench is one solid seat piece and one solid back piece I do not foresee this bench having that problem. It sits wonderfully and is very sturdy.
