The directions make putting it together seem way harder than it is. This tired 41 year old lady put it together in a few hours. It’ll take an afternoon, but it wasn’t super hard to do. My 200 lb husband was apprehensive, but sat down and swing for a bit and was comfortable putting our 5 year old on it. Just make sure there’s a cushiony surface under it, because a tumble from this would definitely hurt. That’s true of any swing, though. So bad instructions aside, still 5 stars because it’s a very solid swing & great value for the money. It doesn’t have the sturdiness or balance issues other swings of this kind and size seem to have. My son is autistic and he loves to swing. We wanted something that would help soothe and relax him and this swing does just that! He loves to lay outside on it, especially in the evenings when it's warm outside. It came with stakes to help hold it in place and so far we haven't had any issues!

My husband put it together by himself in about an hour and he said it was fairly easy. My son LOVES it and has spent all afternoon in the back yard going back and forth between swinging and just laying on it staring at the clouds. He let me have a turn and it was actually really nice and comfortable. For the price, my expectations were way lower and I’m super impressed ... show more

Easy to put together alone. Took me about 1 hour. Instructions good enough, but I was shorted two flat washers and one nut. Frustrating. Trip to hardware store required.

There is rust in and on the frame. Welds aren't great and it could break quickly. It does hold over 300lbs(kids for on with me after I tried it out). It doesn't go higher on the ropes easily. It won't stay if someone over 100lbs is swinging with it higher up. It is holding up without moving with the metal anchors. There is a warning ⚠️ label on the frame saying it is for 3 to 8 years but we needed it because of the weight amount and to help our 10 yr old special needs child. It is hard for her to get on it without falling off it a couple times. Update company reached out to me. Concerns were addressed by them and their response was in a timely manner. We will be using and keeping product to see how well it holds up. So far it is still the same. Our children play on it hard and enjoy swing very high with it. Still can't get the roots to stay up high at any level at the same time. The anchoring system that is included works wonderful and holds the swing with children( over 150lbs together) without issues. Still disappointed with how it has rust and the wields on it but at least the company has tried to correct it for us. Hopefully it holds up over summer and for months to come. ... show more
