Took me about 2hrs to put it together alone. I did have to call my neighbor to help hold a couple pieces to get the initial frame in place. Make sure you have a paper plate or somewhere to put the nuts and washers or else you will inevitably drop them in the grass and spend five minutes looking for a nut. Close to the end I enlisted my neighbor once more for moral support as I realized I put a bar on backwards and had 2 important pieces left over. Read the directions and you’ll be okay, I skimmed them lol. Great swing! ... show more

Assembly was a task for sure, but it's a really great swing and I enjoy it a lot with my toddler. Sturdy and comfortable. My advice is to be sure not to mix up the bolts when you open their package, as the numbers are not-so-conveniently written on the cardboard backing. The canopy is great too I just forgot to take another picture after adding it, I like how it will easily rotate ... show more

We've had this swing for a few months. It is very comfy for sitting and swinging. Plenty of room for 2 adults or 3 small people. With a pillow, it is comfortable when the back is laid flat so I can use it like a hammock. The only issue is that canopy. It acts like a sail on a sailboat! Every time it gets windy outside, the wind catches the canopy and pulls the whole swing over! We tried using tie wraps to anchor the base of the swing to patio pavers, but even that didn't help. I finally cut LARGE holes in the canopy (as seen in the pic). So, cutting the "sail" and "anchoring" the base has finally stopped this boat from capsizing! (I hope). We store the cushions in a deck box so they don't blow away or get wet or faded in the sun. ... show more

I like my new swing. It works good and my husband easily put it together mostly himself with a little help from our kids. Yes the cushions are thin but it's still comfy and overall I'm happy that I purchased this swing.

I was excited to purchase and set up this swing. I had had a swing like it for almost 20 years prior and was a staple of my family home. Finding one that was seemingly identical on Amazon was a thrill once I completed the set up, I was disappointed to find that there is a deficiency in the build of the seats. There aren’t any challenges doing the actual set up, but once you are done and you sit down on the swing, the angles are completely out of whack. You immediately feel like you were going to fall off the swing. The slope at which the seat is built is not correct. Definitely dangerous for kids if they try to seat themselves on it. And even as an adult, you will automatically feel how odd the seating is. ultimately, I was disappointed. And now, because it is already built out and in my backyard, I don’t really know how to return it or if that would even be an option. Definitely some odd proportions and deficiencies in the manufacturing. ... show more

The cushions are extremely thin compared to what I've purchased in the past, and they also do not have velcro on the back to help keep them in place. The first strong wind that we had, the cushions went flying in the yard. The seat part of the swing is also very narrow. quite uncomfortable unless you're a child and when you sit down the seat cushions slide. I don't forsee this swing lasting very long. The media could not be loaded. I looked at several bench swings and am so glad I finally chose this one! I was happy to be able to assemble this by myself. Step by step instructions made it easy! All the parts were here, no damages, all pieces fit together, and it didn't take very long before I was enjoying my new swing! It fits in my small patio perfectly, yet still big enough to stretch my legs while swinging or laying down. When its in the bed position, its still and stable (no swinging). The middle bar is definitely felt when laying down on the bed, but it's easy to just move to the side of it - or just bring blanket and pillows. The canopy fits tightly and adjusts/holds well at any angle. The cushions are a few inches thick, and they fold in half if I want to sit/lay on even more cushion.
