This is a cute set. I expected it to be small, it's for kids. I think it could be used up to 6 or 7 if your kid is not huge. My son is smaller. He is almost four and 36 pounds. This is the perfect size for him. We decided to leave it in the house for the winter and he absolutely loves it! He keeps telling me how his room is so nice now. He sits on it and plays games and watches TV. His cousins also fit on it with him. It's pretty easy to put together, I did it myself. Make sure to pay attention to the parts, there are a few of them that look alike. I actually had to rebuild a section a couple times. The arm part can go on either side of this too. Mine is on the right when looking at it. The umbrella is nice and durable. I left the seats unscrewed so I could life them and store stuff underneath. My son does not bother with them and nothing is affected by them not being screwed down. The cushions could be thicker but they are fine for young kids. Once I put this outside, I am going to coat it in sealer, it helps them stay looking new. I did the same thing to our swing set. ... show more

This is absolutely adorable. We bought the Kidcraft double chaise Cabana 2 years ago and the wood for this sectional is the same as the wood for the cabana. It can't be left outside all winter and it is best to treat the wood because it is unfinished and will wear in the winter, or rain and sun. Our Cabana didn't last as long as it could have because we didn't treat the wood. So, with this sectional, we treated it right away to give it a little more protection. Otherwise it dries out in the sun and the wood deteriorates. It's a nice little chunk of money so you might as well protect the investment. This sectional and ottoman are fairly solid and look great. Definitely something that can be used indoors as well for a reading nook or just a sitting area. Absolutely adorable. ... show more
