  • Great Value! Use with Peloton App
I’m impressed with this bike! I’ve been using it for a couple of weeks and it is working very well so far! I downloaded the peloton app and I cast it to my tv and follow along with the workouts. You don’t have a way to track your resistance on this bike, but I just guess and that’s good enough for me considering how little I had to pay. I plan to add a cadence tracker to help with Peloton workouts. I track my heart rate using my Fitbit. I’m 190 lb and 5’4”. I find the bike to be very sturdy and a good fit. It is easy enough to move around the room. I am able to store it in a corner and bring it out for workouts fairly easily. This cycle was on sale when I got it and I received $100 off for applying for the Amazon credit card. That made the bike $165 for me. I’ll spend $40 on the cadence tracker and $13/month on the Peloton app. I’d say totally worth it for paying 10% of the price of a peloton. It was pretty easy to set up. Having 2 people to set it up is helpful, but not necessary. I’d recommend ... show more

  • Great bike for home, read for gear info during classes.
I am excited about this bike and having an at home option for cycling. My expectation was pretty neutral, but was hopeful based on all the other reviews. I will say, it is what others have said, a good bike. For someone who is use to riding in a studio, this review I hope helps you. The handle bars for 3rd position are low. The positive of this is you have to keep your chest up and use the first position area of the handles. The negative, is its a different ride because of this. Maybe you aren't hitting the same numbers because you are standing different on the bike. Sitting, the bike feels just fine. Standing, I feel uncertain at times but that I think has more to do with the small bike frame than I'm used to. I'm sure with time I'll get more comfortable. The seat is amazing! It is super cushioned and has springs. It is wider though so your legs are more likely to rub it sometimes when riding. Everything adjust as advertised. The scan function on the screen is nice it changes between calories burned, time, speed, etc. The hardest thing for me is mentally learning what the resistance gear feels like. I'm using this bike to do YouTube classes and if they call out an 8, I just have to guess base on prior experience what that is on this nob. Basically, the resistance level doesn't display on the screen. This by far is the biggest adjustment, but I knew that going in. To me, it was worth losing that for the price of the bike. Assembly was awesome. Maybe 15 minutes to assemble. The main part of the bike is already together when delivered so it's mostly adding the seat, handles, etc. It's a really quiet bike which is nice. I think I'll be able to use it without disturbing anyone when I ride before or after family wakes up. All in all I think this bike serves its purpose for at home option and is plenty stable for the types of classes I do. I hope to review again in a few weeks after more use to see if anything changes and some of these things are just part of the transition from a studio bike to this one. ... show more

  • Good value, quick setup but light size
Imagine you’re reading this in covid times and debating that really spendy bike or saving a whole lot of money and getting this one. I get it, I was in the same spot and now that it’s up, I’d say this: for the right customer, this bike is solid. What do I mean exactly? Well it's obviously not the most advanced bike but it's a compact bike, a great price that gets the job done (provided you're the right fit of course). Shipping & Setup: The box is just about the size of a large suv trunk and bulky to move but not unmanageable solo. I found the setup to be straight forward and took maybe 20 minutes to build after getting everything out of the packaging. You'll have a much easier time with some help but I managed it fine on my own -- also use the box as padding to avoid scratching up anything on the bike or your floors. All the tools are included and basic so it's really just about following a few steps to screw parts together. After setup, I took things on a test ride and noticed a little squeaking but some additional adjustments to the installed parts with a wrench have cleared those up mostly. Mine isn't super silent like some other reviews suggest but it's nothing loud. The ride: It's been about a month and I’ve been riding regularly since then. The resistance goes from cruise to burn to downright rough and is easily changed as you're riding around to var your workout up. It's not my gym but in these times, it is a great option to jump on for 30 minutes or an hour after work and get some activity. The seat is padded just enough, more would be ok. The tech: I don't know how sophisticated the computer really is but it's certainly handy for tracking rides, speed and overall use. Simple to use, simple stats. Shame there's no stand for a phone or screen but setting up near your tv would solve that anyways. Sizing: I’m 6’2 and 200ish and the bike certainly works for me though I it's not the most comfortable or stable ride at my size. The peddles are adjustable but at size 14, I'm pushing the boundary. The seat adjusts and is padded but at 6'2", I know I'm near the upper bounds of its reach. Non issues for anyone smaller I'm sure. I picked up one of the floor pads amazon sells to help keep things clean and it also helps keep things stable and reduce noise for my neighbors below. Overall: No, it’s not an internet connected, revolutionary bike but it gives a decent workout without the big price. So while I probably need to trade up for something bulkier, I’d buy it again for the right person looking for some lockdown activity. ... show more

  • Excellent bike!
I've always loved cycling and wanted a bike to add to my home gym. The bike came on time in it's packaging and everything needed to put it together was included. There were some small errors in the directions as far as spelling, grammar, etc but I was still able to figure it out on my own. Fairly easy to assemble. Took me probably 30 mins. Had my first ride and in less than an hour the foot pedal came off. I just didn't have it on tight enough or had the proper alignment with the threading. I kept the tools close by so I can be sure to tighten the bolts often. After that pedal issue I've not had any other troubles. The bike is VERY quiet and VERY comfortable. I like the tracking monitor and the cages fit my shoes great. It's small and compact and easy to move from room to room. The price for this bike is excellent and it is a MUST if you are looking to spend less than $500. For reference I am 5'3" and 120lbs and the adjustments are ideal for my size. ... show more
