Description

The Victor Electronic Mouse Trap uses innovative technology to deliver a high- voltage shock, eliminating mice in seconds. This powerful device is capable of killing up to 100 mice per set of batteries (4 AA), making it a great value. It's also easy to use! To use, simply place a high protein bait in the provided bait cup, place in a location with high rodent activity and power on. Advanced smart circuit technology senses when a mouse enters the tunnel, triggering the system to deliver a humane, high-voltage shock. After making a catch, a green LED light blinks to indicate a kill. The kill chamber is conveniently removable so you can easily dispose of the dead rodent without having to see or touch it. This removable chamber also makes baiting easy. The new and improved design of the electronic trap provides better plate access so you can easily clean it in between uses. Plus, the tunnel design and built-in safety switch, which deactivates the trap when opened, helps to protect children and pets. The unique tunnel design and beveled columns serve an added purpose of holding mice in place over the electrified plates to prevent escapes. Listen. Before recently ( last year, as of the time I am writing this review, ) I have had no experience dealing with mice, or using any kinds of mouse traps. I did however, know that the traditional snap mouse traps almost always cause a very unsightly mess upon successfully making a catch. It was something I definitely did not want to have to see if I could avoid it. I also would not like to have been cleaning it up. So I looked for alternative traps that do the job in a different way. Glue traps are cruel and inhumane to a very extreme degree, causing much pain and suffering, and a slow agonizing death to any mouse that happens to fall into one And as much as I dislike mice, I don't want to put the creatures through such horrific torture. They feel things, just like we humans do. I came across these Victor battery mouse traps, and they check off all the boxes. Quick, clean and deadly. I have counted 4 mice so far, and have also managed to eliminate that many. One of those four mice managed to get in and back out of the traps successfully one time only. This may have been because it was a smaller one, or because the batteries were not fully charged. It would later be caught and face the same demise of the other 3 however. With 4 out of 5 entries into these traps being "successful", I would rate the traps as having approximately an 80% success rate ( which is very good in my opinion, especially considering the clean-up it spares you, as well sparing you the need to look at the eliminated prey after the job is done.)... If used correctly, the most you will see is a tail sticking out of the entrance of the trap where the mouse went in. If you have a bag ready, turn the trap upside down before opening it, drop the mouse into the bag, and then tie the bag without aiming your eyes at whats inside, you will not have to see the mouse at all. You will feel its weight in the bag though as you carry it to wherever you are going to dispose of it. I'm very satisfied with these traps, which is why I have purchased a total of 3. Whenever I get a catch, I take the batteries out, recharge them ( Yes, I use rechargeable batteries ), and then set the trap back up again, using chocolate as bait. If you are squeamish, have a mouse problem, and want to address it in an effective manner, do not delay... These are the traps you are looking for. ... show more

Pros: Simply put, I set the trap for the last 5 days and have disposed of 5 dead mice. It works without fail with just a small amount of peanut butter and 4 AA batteries. Cons: removing the dead mice requires some effort via flipping it upside down and tapping it repeatedly to dislodge the mouse. They get kind of stuck in there. Note to Victor: If you are going to sell a product in America, hire an American to write the English instructions. They are TERRIBLE. Embarrassingly bad with missing details and instructions out of sequence. You can't put the trap down and then put batteries in it. There is also no "bait cup." There was nothing about what the lights or colors on the indicator means. You need to do better. That's why this is a 4 star review. If everyone gives you 5 stars, you have no motivation to improve. ... show more

But the batteries, smeared some peanut butter inside the vent, turned on and placed in the garage where the mouse was seen most of the time. I had previous place mice pellets that was suppose to dehydrate them and still see mice. I place this electronic mouse trap and in fifteen minutes killed two mice, a little one and a big one. Dumped them in the out going trash can. Placed it back out in the garage and woke up with another dead mouse. I baited it again with peanut butter and will see if another one comes. I bought two these, will give the other one to my sister-in-law who have mice problem in their house. Cannot go wrong buying this product. It is simple humane, and clean. Simply open the led and dump the mice in the trash. Buy it! ... show more

Caught two mice within a day and a half using the dog food they're used to eating for the bait. No mess of any kind! Easy to set up for reuse, and the indicator LED makes it easy to verify the trap is active and when it's been triggered, though one of them wasn't lit up even though it had a mouse in it 🤷 overall happy with the quality and effectiveness. ... show more
