Description

The Victor Electronic Mouse Trap uses innovative technology to deliver a high- voltage shock, eliminating mice in seconds. This powerful device is capable of killing up to 100 mice per set of batteries (4 AA), making it a great value. It's also easy to use! To use, simply place a high protein bait in the provided bait cup, place in a location with high rodent activity and power on. Advanced smart circuit technology senses when a mouse enters the tunnel, triggering the system to deliver a humane, high-voltage shock. After making a catch, a green LED light blinks to indicate a kill. The kill chamber is conveniently removable so you can easily dispose of the dead rodent without having to see or touch it. This removable chamber also makes baiting easy. The new and improved design of the electronic trap provides better plate access so you can easily clean it in between uses. Plus, the tunnel design and built-in safety switch, which deactivates the trap when opened, helps to protect children and pets. The unique tunnel design and beveled columns serve an added purpose of holding mice in place over the electrified plates to prevent escapes. These traps require no poison or chemicals and can be used anywhere inside your home or business to ensure years of effective mouse control. 100% kill claim substiation: Laboratory testing was performed in the Woodstream Animal Laboratory on 5/19/17 confirming 100% kill rate of mice with the M250S Victor Electronic Mouse trap. Testing was performed on multiple traps, each using a new, fresh set of alkaline batteries. Laboratory testing was performed on a total of (11) M250 traps, successfully dispatching (30) mice. All tests resulted in a confirmed kill of the tested mouse.

  • Super effective!
Size: 2 Traps
Caught two mice within a day and a half using the dog food they're used to eating for the bait. No mess of any kind! Easy to set up for reuse, and the indicator LED makes it easy to verify the trap is active and when it's been triggered, though one of them wasn't lit up even though it had a mouse in it 🤷 overall happy with the quality and effectiveness. ... show more

  • If it's a choice between my pets and them...
Size: 1 Trap with Removable Chamber
I hate having to even use these but if it's a choice between keeping my pets safe from disease and my home free from mouse droppings I will choose this route every time. And there's no way I'd use any other device- While my ultimate preference would be a no-kill trap and release, they'd only make their way back and I'm sorry... I can't jump in the car and drive them a mile or two away every time I catch one. The snap traps aren't a guarantee- There's a chance it will land on a leg, which they'll chew off. Or it won't kill them and they'll lay there in pain and the very thought of that makes me incredibly sad. The glue traps- Same thing or they'll suffer for days before they die. Same with the poison (that's not immediate). Or the 5 gallon buckets they climb into and supposedly can't get out of, which alternatively can be filled with water... Drowning? No thank you. At least these devices let them pass pretty much instantaneously. Again, I HATE even having to do this but of all of the other options this seems the most humane (outside of setting them free but like I said... I just cannot get in a car each time and drive them a mile or two away). And these traps work EVERY_TIME. Less than a week after we found where they were getting in, 'Great Stuff Pest Control' foam was applied to seal up some holes and a couple of these were set up (one in the basement ceiling tiles and another on the main floor where they were coming up through the exterior plumbing / electrical holes that were never sealed... Mouse problem COMPLETELY_GONE. I live in the woods and fully expect a random 'visitor' to find *somewhere* to get in.... Eventually. But I know these traps will take care of the problem and it won't get out of control- Because it can very quickly otherwise. ... show more

  • Mouse:1 Me:0 (so far).....it's now 2 to 1 ... (See newest update on refills.)
Size: 1 Trap with Removable Chamber
I purchased three of these for different areas (open back porch, garage and open front porch). Arrived in 4 hours (amazing!). Easy to set up and intuitive. Also easy to empty (if there was a mouse....). I like the design. No poison and the deceased mouse is enclosed, so my dog won't start to use it like a stuffed toy. Perfect! So far the trap worked very fast. First mouse encounter within 3 hours. Set it against a wall, just as recommended. Green light flash. BINGO! First rodent casualty. Took the electrocution chamber off, went to the disposal area, opened the door...and what did I find? Bait gone...and a pile of mouse poop. No mouse. I think that I created a Franken-mouse. A few hundred volts didn't phase my little rodent...except to blow the poop out of him. I swear that when I went to dump the chamber there was a high pitched laugh from the corner of the patio. Maybe it's just my imagination. Oh well. It was easy to clean out. Reload and replace. Watch out critter. I haven't given up yet. Will update this review in the future. Gotta run. Quasimodo-mouse is knocking at the door. Update - about 5 days. Frankenmouse:2 Me: 0 It's not looking good for this product.f Ok. Update #2. It's now Frankenmouse 2, Me:1 Seemed pretty effective. Let's see how it performs with a re-loaded bait chamber. (Easy to empty and reload). Because of the updated score, I bumped this up to 4 stars! Final update #3: These traps seem to have "hit a rhythm" and I have been successful in getting a number of mice. I didn't keep count, but it's more than 6 or 7. In fact, on our porch, I once got TWO mice at the same time. Overall, I really like these traps. Easy to set and ignore...until the light goes on. Then they are easy to empty, and I put them where a local hawk can get the critter....better than tossing them away. (and there is no poison that I need to worry about). Overall I bumped these up to 5 stars! With that, I will end my review of this product. Update..... Ok, I am a full believer. With three traps strategically placed on our porches, I have caught probably a dozen or more mice. I give the full contraption a 5 Star rating. HOWEVER, I had to buy some refills for the trap chamber. (I won't tell you why...), and I saw both after market versions and the more expensive "original" chambers. Based on reviews, I went with the far more expensive "original" replacement chambers. Well, they seem to work ok, but don't fit quite as well as the original chambers of the full trap. Plus....the traps do NOT have the "vector" image in the plastic top. I suspect that these are NOT original vector trap chamber replacements and are aftermarket products. Given that, I would probably try the less expensive aftermarket versions (they are a lot less expensive). But overall, I still think this is a great trap. ... show more

  • works well if catch and release isn't enough, but put it somewhere that you'll be able to monitor it
Size: 2 Traps
i live somewhere rural so i occasionally have mice make their way inside and although i usually try to trap them in a bucket and drop them off outside, there are times that it just doesn't work and i have to resort to traps that kill the mice, though i don't like to. i researched the most "humane" traps, since i'm not a fan of the more cruel or messy ones like glue traps or snap traps and found that these electrocution ones seem to instantly kill the mouse painlessly (which certainly seems true after using it). my only problem is that it doesn't seem to have an auto-off feature after it catches and kills a mouse. my suggestion if using these is to put them in a place that you'll be able to monitor, if possible, so that when the mouse is caught, it can be emptied out immediately (or at least turned off until you're able to get it emptied into the trash). mine caught a mouse and it immediately made a loud buzzing noise and the smell of the body being "cooked" by the electricity was quite strong because i was in another room and wasn't immediately able to come turn the trap off and empty it. the smell did go away after i turned the trap off and it was gone by the time i came back with a bag to throw the body into, but it wasn't pleasant in the meantime. i like that it's easy to lift the lid up and dump it upside down without ever having to touch the mouse. ... show more
