I truly wanted to convince myself that this product just needed time for me to adapt to its nuances. But after sheared off screws, inconsistent heat distribution, poor user interface navigation, and a far too many ruined projects its finally clear that this product is just not a good product. My advice would be to go with a more reputable brand. Spend a few more dollars. Get it right. I have owned this product for a year. I frankly can't afford to continue to take the risk of using it. Its more likely to perform poorly, not be responsive, or have another piece of it fail, than it is to perform and give me the results i want. Don't buy it. Seriously. I know you're thinking 'but that isn't me -thats just this guy, I am better than he is. I can do better. I can save money and make it work.' And thats fine - sell yourself on it. Tell yourself what you need to. But when you're looking at that ruined shirt, that burned fabric...when you're watching the heat of the device wildly spike... when you go to adjust the different attachments and find a stripped screw, a clearly poorly designed set of bolts that get in the way of removing screws...just come back to this review and at least give me a thumbs up in acknowledgement that you too were defeated by the attractive price monster....he gets the better of us all sometimes. ... show more

So I researched until my eyes and brain couldn’t take it any longer. Then I stumbled across this gem of a machine that had everything I needed all in one with great reviews. I was beyond excited and couldn’t wait for it to arrive and use it. Well it came, I set it up with pure joy and excitement.. only to find out it does not work. I did and tried everything. I researched, googled and watched videos.. nothing was working. The machine does not heat up at all. I’ve tried over the course of the last week and half to get it to work. Left it sitting on for an hour and sometimes longer thinking maybe that would do something. Then I began Thinking maybe I just needed to step away, research more and try again. That is not the case. Sadly I received a very expensive piece of equipment that simply does not work. Now I have to attempt how to get this heavy thing to a return location and try my search all over again. ... show more
