The media could not be loaded. My dog thinks he’s tough. If he believes there’s a person outside in the driveway, he’s going to bark mercilessly. He’s also going to try to destroy anything between his eyeballs & these 6”x12” glass panels next to the front door so he can see the person he’s barking at. And if it turns out there is no person outside, he will keep barking & watching to make 100% sure he successfully scared away potential intruders. Ironically, it’s our security system notification that triggers his “guard dog” response. Not his finely tuned senses. Needless to say, the wood blinds were destroyed within a month of moving into this house. They were slated to be replaced anyway because, like so many things I’m finding in this house since moving in august, they’re broken. Can’t raise them up, string pull doesn’t work. But it was low on the list until Boomer the scary guard dog chewed a couple slats to bits. Dumb as he is, I love him more than my own children sometimes (my kids are 22 and 17, if you have young adult kids then you know). I don’t want him to swallow a wood shard. If it didn’t kill him I’d have a massive vet bill instead. I researched different types of window coverings & this stuff came highly recommended & seemed like it would provide enough opacity for privacy while still letting Kujo see outside a little bit. I was worried about the sorta textured design on these small panes of glass & how it would look, but it turned out very nice. I won’t say it was quick & easy, but it wasn’t complicated. Having to do 5 smaller windows was just annoying. If you want to do it right the first time, read the instructions carefully, measure carefully, watch some YouTube videos, and read the instructions again. Make sure you have plenty of fresh sharp blades on hand. Would definitely recommend. Keep in mind these do not completely black out windows, they’re not 100% opaque. Nice film easy to install, came with directions. Make sure you have a sharp razor blade (xacto) and a plastic scraper to get bubbles out. Darker from outside. Like the color and pattern.

We have tinted windows (new) but still the sun shines in the one side of the house strong from late afternoon til evening and so to dim the glare, we added this filter to the one window that gets the most glare. I worried it would be totally black or not work at all - but it actually appears very similar to the window tint - so it doesn't stand out or look weird -but it very much helped manage the extreme glare coming in. ... show more

This came with installation instructions that made it easy to follow and install. I used this on my front door that made everything inside visible, and now it’s not. It gave me the privacy I was looking for while making it seem like my glass has a design. Good product

    • Don’t Expect Perfection
Got the “rain” design for privacy to replace a sheer curtain on my front door, which has 15 small windows. Installation was fairly simple. Due to the texture, there is just no way to squeegee all the water out. The squeegee doesn’t contact the full surface (flat) due to the “rain” texture. I worked around it by leaving more of a gap on the edges than recommended. It’s been up about a month and is adhering well. Looks ok from outside, looks nice from inside. This is meeting my need and I’d probably purchase again. ... show more

I can’t believe how phenomenal this looks! I wanted to update the look of the golden oak cabinets and wanted a smokey glass rather than clear. I checked inline and with local glass shops and no one had what I wanted in a darker glass. I found this and though I would give it a go! I pulled off the window grills, mounted this with ease after cutting it to fit, and voila!! This, along with restore-a-finish, new hardware, and new backsplash completely updated my kitchen!! This prod says that it helps reduce incoming heat from the sun. It does not. It also says you can still see through it looking out during the day. You cannot. I had to purchase a decent amount for my windows. I am out that money now. It’s a bummer.
