It holds up and it's strong enough to tear off the paint off your wall or ceiling. The spool makes it convenient to get any length you want and it also have plenty available. I use it for networking and wire management jobs whenever I don't want to screw something in. This product has been my best purchase for my upholstery needs. Very strong hold to itself. The sticky back is great for some applications but for fabric upholstery I sew it on for peace of mind. I find the sticky back Velcro to have a stronger hold over the non sticky back..

I can say the velcro does cling quite well however, the stickiness of the backing could stand to be stickier. It doesn't stick well to fabric. I'm using this product to velcro my furniture slipcovers vs the useless straps they send or stapling. I do not think the strip on velcro will survive a run thru a wash and dry. ... show more
