I've used Command strips for a range of hanging challenges - pictures, aprons, general stuff etc. My simple verdict is that they really work. They are not hype. They work so well. Best to follow the instructions carefully and prepare the surfaces with rubbing alcohol to ensure good adhesion.

These came in handy and worked great for when I wanted to hang some plastic mirrors in my bathroom. The adhesive that came on the mirror itself did not work. They fell off one by one until I placed these strips onto them. I have had no problems ever since. I also used it on a canvas I had purchased as an anniversary give for my husband (may you R.I.P My Love). It looks great in our living room. We love these and buy them over and over again. I tried the generic kind once - never again - the generic were awful. They ruined my walls, it was just awful. These, however, are wonderful. Will never go back to generic. Stick with these and you won’t go wrong. These are amazing. Love them. Can’t keep enough in my house. I can't say enough about these command strips. I use them for EVERYTHING! Heavy wall decor or small wall decor, they hold up great. I have heavy wooden decor that has help up just fine for almost 2 years. They are so easy to use and take down and no damaged or holes in my walls. I see some comments about paint peeling but I have NEVER had a issue removing these and I change around my decor often. I have never had a issue with paint only good experience with these strips. ... show more

I've used command strips previously. I used the large strips to hang most of my items as I just moved. I've had a few items fall even though they were much lighter than the weight limit. It was frustrating but the worst was the wooden sign hanging on the wall above my bed. It weighs a few pounds and I used 2 large strips. One morning at about 5 am the adhesive gave up on one of the strips and the sign fell on my head. I ended up using 4 pairs of large strips for an item that weighs a few pounds. I found on other items I had to double the strips. I don't think they are as durable as advertised. ... show more

Command Strips have changed the game for renters and anyone else that hates doing wall repair after hanging pictures. Keep in mind that you will not be able to hang super-heavy or slippery-surfaced art, electronics, or plants with these but they are so,so,so nice for so many things. 1st picture is of a 24"x36" heavy canvas picture hung with 2 of these Command Strips on a satin finish painted wall. 2nd picture is of various plant hangers attached to the medium Command Hooks. 3rd picture is of a 36"x48" canvas hanging with 2 of the Command Canvas hangers.
