For cheap tape this stuff is pretty good! As far as tape goes, it is actually good tape! Sticks well, it has a nice thickness to it. And a nice texture. I put it on my drum sticks and it is kind of like extra grip. And, it stays on well! The colors are good. I would say that the blue doesn't really glow much, as expected. You don't see good blues in neon colors and backlights in general, so I wasn't expecting anything different. One thing that seems surprising is that the white tape doesn't seem very bright. I feel like my white cotton shirt was brighter, under a blacklight, than this tape. Overall definitely a 5-Star value. Mind you, you don't necessarily get a lot of footage. But it is enough for crafting and several small projects. It will take me forever to use this whole box on just my drum sticks. ... show more

Decent tape. It was easy to work with. You can tear it easily enough but cutting it gives you a better edge. The traditional dayglow colors of green, yellow and pink were the better reflective colors in the black light. The white was decent and the blue was a little dull unless it was close to the light. It stuck well to canvas and plastic tarps. It also stayed down on a concrete garage floor. Easy to remove. I held back a star since not all the colors preformed equally. This is my fourth year in a row decorating all the common areas in my house with UV tape for Halloween. This tape is perfect and I can always get great designs out of it. This year I’m doing a kind of Alice in Wonderland, “down the rabbit hole” type thing. The above is my first design for it. My ONLY complaint about this tape is a small color selection, but it’s still better than anything else I can find on Amazon (or the web) so it’s not worth deducting any stars. That means having to make some creative choices if you’re doing a whole picture like I did here, but if you stick to simpler designs it’s not as much of a problem. I also wanted to post this pic to address some false reports that the blue and white don’t glow at all. Both do. The blue is admittedly almost unnoticeable, but that’s just because it’s easier to see with lights on. The white, as you can tell, don’t even show up on my wall when the lights are on but glows when lights off/UV on. I do wish the white was more reflective, and that it didn’t look like a light-blue under a black light, but I can’t find any other company selling white UV tape (and I’ve looked) so this is the best I’ve found. As for the people saying it will rip the paint off your walls: I can only speak from personal experience, but I’ve used this three years prior, someone’s leaving the designs up over a month, and it always peels off with no problem. I also stick, peel off, and restick the tape several times when I’m making my designs. That’s one of my favorite things about it, it seems like it can be stuck and restuck over and over without losing any adhesion. It also leaves little to no residue. I’ve never found any residue in my walls, and I only get a VERY thin build up of residue on me fingers after hours of working with it to decorate my walls (which washes right off later). Never ever had any paint chip. I don’t know about varnish, I only ever put it on painted drywall. My tips: buy the longest rolls (which FYI is actually just two sets of the shorter rolls, which is fine by me). Because blue and white don’t shine a whole lot, you’ll probably use the other colors a lot more and run out fast. But even if you don’t use the blue or white at all I still think it’s worth the money for the rest of the colors. Those do really pop! Also, this year is the first time I used their extra thin rolls, and I don’t recommend those. They’re pretty unwieldy and much harder to work with. The thicker strips are pretty easy to just rip down the middle if you need a thinner strip, and that’s what I’ve done in the past and I preferred it. Granted, they may have their use. I’m debating putting eyelashes on the picture above, and if I do, the thin tape would be the perfect size which would save me time. ... show more

We used this along with other neon items for a party and also a project and it was perfect. We ordered a 2nd time because the adhesion and colors were perfect and the price was great. You can do more than just use it as a border and we even reused some of it afterwards because we balled it up for a project which had neon orbs/planets spinning. I highly recommend and a 385 nks black light works great. Shows the neon colors and really blacks everything else out versus that bright purple light some "blacklights" give off (like the 395 385nm lights). The tape sticks, the tape glows, the tape WILL peel paint off your walls. I read previous reviews that said it came off their walls no problem. I disagree. We will be repainting our basement this winter! But the product worked great, as it should have. Not the fault of the product or advertising. Our daughter’s glow party was a success ... show more
