    • It's velcro and it sticks, but not even The Super Man could peel off the backing.

The subject line says it all. It's velcro and it works great, but trying to peel off the backing is a nightmare. I've tried fingernails, knives, razors, various blunt objects, and it just made me wanted to set both rolls on fire. I even tried scoring the backing in the middle and they trying to peel it up from the cut. No joy. Once it's started, it's fine, but man, *GETTING* it started whether on a corner, on an edge, anywhere, is torture. Hope you have better luck than I had. Anyway, once you *do* manage to get it and peel off the backing, the fuzzy and pinchy sides stick well to whatever you're sticking it to, and grip solidly. Other "off-brands" aren't nearly as grippy, so yeah, this is The Real Deal. ... show more

Got this to make some covers with heat proof felt for hot silencers. This sticks to everything, including the felt material, but it takes a layer of felt with it and then doesn't stick too well. The box says "industrial strength" & they mean it. This stuff is a level of magnitude stronger then "regular" Velcro. That's for both the adhesive backing & the hook-n-loop strength. My only complaint it it can be a challenge to remove the plastic backing to expose the adhesive but that's because its so very sticky. Great stuff. ... show more
