I was super excited to start chopping away. First thing I tried was an onion. I cut my onion in 4 pieces prior to chopping. I then pulled apart 1 layer at a time and started chopping. I literally had to put my whole upper body weight to get the onion to slice! Same thibgs happend with bell peppers and jalapeños. It works fine for softer items like cucumbers. Definitely not worth it! So disappointing! ... show more

I was so excited to receive mine as I do a lot of cooking. However, I was very disappointed. It’s not sturdy at all. I went to use a piece of onion in it and it wouldn’t even chop it. I tried two different cutters but to no avail. I was willing to overlook the smallness of it if it worked. I did research but maybe I got it confused with a similar product.
